Better than I thought... When I have seen him play in the NRL he has always been good, I for one hope he does good for us.

So we might be getting a current international half and cash in exchange for a player off in a few weeks anyway and people still aren't seeing the pros?
Sometimes I do wonder on what planet people watch Salford, the planet where we are all powerful, all conquering and the worlds best.

Sometimes I do wonder on what planet people watch Salford, the planet where we are all powerful, all conquering and the worlds best. I’m fully in favour of what currently is being touted. Swapping Rob who is off at the end of the season for another younger, international, running stand off plus cash. lolohea is a quality player who isn’t performing for Leeds due to the fact they are using him wrong, much like how we tried to use Lui for the majority of last season. Outside a scrum half like Hastings I can see him having some brilliant moments. Here’s hoping anyway! Leeds have made a balls up with this in my opinion as it’s blatantly obvious they need a controlling scrum half which Rob is not. They have basically paid money for a like for like swap. Unless they have a new scrum half up their sleeve. That being said I’ll be very sad to see Lui leave as he’s been fantastic for the past 4 years and is a great guy.

If they are paying his wages then this is a win win situation. I was just dreading us getting some of the other suggestions muted. A marquee international player at little old Salford😳 Still gutted at losing Lui. Will see how it goes on Friday, either a masterstroke or a cock up either way at least we have a decent albeit overweight replacement.

My only caveat to the above is that we now need to form a halfback partnership again when atm we already have one of the best partnerships in the league.

He's a similar player to Lui IF we can get him to how he was in the NRL. He's shown glimpses this year for Leeds that when given the chance and when he can be bothered he can carve open so defences. He's quick like Lui for his size and has plenty of years still left.

But he's only here til the end of the season isn't he? He's a Leeds marquee player. No chance we can afford him next season. So its 10 games .

Just been talking to a Rhinos fan. First part of the season he was top of the assists charts. Defence ain’t good. Overweight when he arrived and hasn’t changed. Overall, though,he’s ok

Worst case scenario - Lolohea doesn't have his heart in it, he eats more burgers and the partnership fails with Hastings. We barely win a game and get dragged into a relegation battle. Meanwhile, Lui turns their season round, scoring or setting up every try in their comprehensive win over us, refusing to celebrate any of them out of respect. Leeds scrape into 5th and win the league. We go down.
Best case scenario - Lolohea is furious and sets out to prove a point. With far better service from Hastings and highly motivated, he bamboozles defences and Salford step up a gear, solidifying their grip on the top 5. Teams fear us. Lui can't perform outside Myler and Leeds sink to the bottom of the table. Old Trafford beckons for the mighty Red Devils, and the prize money allows us to sign Lolohea and Hastings for next year after Leeds go down and Lolohea becomes a free agent. An era of domination is ushered in. The ground is no longer big enough for all the fans. Watson becomes Queensland coach in his spare time. Leeds play off against Hunslet at the bottom of the Championship and go down again.
