“More details on this in League Express later, but understand Salford’s Gareth O’Brien has signed for Toronto with immediate effect. The fullback was left out of Salford’s squad to face Castleford today to finalise a move to the Wolfpack. Salford will get a cash fee”

All about cash, of which we have very little. We were already weak in the backs but now this is ridiculous! If Evalds gets injured we are well and truly screwed. Trying to stay positive atm but this is another sign of how much we’re struggling.

Always concerning to see a player leave in our current situation but in reality he's the second best full back at the club and the fact its a championship club that he is going to speaks volumes.
Good luck to him though and he'll always be remembered for THAT drop goal.

I'm guessing that having decent squad players, is going to be something we can't afford. Mediocre or poor squad players, and most importantly, really cheap squad players will be our fair.
I realise that Evalds gets the FB spot now, but if he gets injured then we're struggling. We also lose cover on the wings for injury, which puts pressure on an already weakened squad.
