From what I understand Toronto came in and offered us a hefty fee and GOB an increase in wages. We matched the wages, but Toronto came back and nearly doubled it. Apparently Graz didn't want to leave and is gutted , unfortunately money talks. Busy week for bleasey and watto as we need a couple of new backs and a goal kicker as well.

Already weak in the backs, now this... Sad thing is, we will not be bringing in a replacement of any quality. Sign of things to come unfortunately. Good luck Gaz and thanks for the memories.

I’m really struggling to stay positive now. I know some people don’t rate him but nobody can deny that he gave it his all for us. In this current predicament that is exactly the type of player we need.
Every game I attend I have to negotiate getting out of work early, make an epic journey to the ground and all for a massive outlay. If they are selling the team off to prepare for the Championship, I’m sorry but I’m not doing it anymore. I’m up for the Catalans game and hope they’ve brought at least one player in by then.

It certainly seems like death by a thousand cuts for us. I'd rather us just throw the towel in sooner rather than watch us whither away slowly.

I fear that rather than buy our place, teams like Toronto will try to weaken us by buying players and the rfL won't stop them. However, I will see how it unfolds before jumping to conclusions as I love my club and will continue to stick with them. Never boring

It would be sad if the ‘Manchester never’ brigade walked away now. We need to support the club more than ever Otherwise those who said they’d rather have no club than a Manchester club will get their wish come true

Says in the LE that we’ve been offering other players out (namely George Griffin and Ryan Lennon). Without MK’s money these are the kind of cuts we’re going to have to make to stay afloat, this is the harsh reality.
This next month is going to be very interesting.

This his the man that was going to buy the Bulls an Australian club and now the Cumbrian Lakers or what ever.We have our best season for ages then what does he do he goes.

Sorry, and I never thought I’d ever say this, but Koukash is blameless. I think he has left us with a zero balance on the current account, and there’s a moratorium on the historic debt. He decided he wasn’t prepared to put his hand in his pocket any more. That’s his absolute right. The reference to Manchester is 100% a total red herring.

If you’re going to keep on going then you’re not one of the people. It’s the ones saying they’re going to stop I mean i don’t know why he left. Ego feels right. After last season you’d have thought he’d stick around. Maybe he’d run out of cash and decided he’d get out on a relative high. I do think he believed a move to Manchester would increase crowds and income and couldn’t see a way of making us financially viable at the AJ Bell. I’m not gonna try and second guess

Selling players to keep afloat isn't keeping afloat, it's not even paddling!
Winging our way to the championship in this manner is not the same as ending up there on merit.
So sad to see all of the worst fears come true.
See you in church everyone.
