Think the most obvious thing is don't try and get the shuttle bus right to the ground before the game, it's a battle you can't win, make a choice either drop at the Unicorn or outside Brookhouse cemetery. For the after match shuttle make sure it is parked in a location where egress from the stadium doesn't effect the bus actually leaving. I don't agree, if the bus service came in & out using the new road calling from the Trafford Centre it will be in & out in minutes. The bus would terminate on the new road & exit on the new road, thus avoiding any of the traffic issues, one big plus we did not have before

I've been told the Supporters Trust are going to run a pilot scheme for transport for the Hull game. Probably from the Precinct, Height etc. So who really wants it? They'll need to know numbers, pick-up points etc. Payment I understand will be on line via the Club. If it works it'll be permenant and from more places. So if this rant is a reality those who want it need to pit their name forward, I don't think is was intended as a rant or a negative, trying to be positive & suggesting initiatives which could bring lapsed fans back. If the supporters trust are to trial this initiative we would do well if this could be put into the match day programme & announced before the matches.

I think we all know we are not in the best of health, not sure on the present model how we intend to increase the numbers sufficiently through the turnstile to make us viable. I know R

Any aid getting fans to ground must be applauded, however a bus service taking in Little Hulton, Swinton Weaste & Eccles would maybe encourage lost supporters back! Am I being too ambitious.

A whiff of MK, you seem to know the inner workings of MK without ever meeting him? Thank you for your input, us Salford fans are under no illusion.

Real positive attitude & for the right reasons, lets hope we can build on the positive foundation the new trust board is putting in place.

Can't believe people are getting behind this, sums the sport up at the minute. Concentrating on expansion in USA whilst clubs like us are dying off the pitch. People have plans for Good Friday the game is in a matter of weeks, we had family coming over from Spain for the weekend who are former season ticket holders who were coming to the game and I am sure many others will have their plans scuppered. The idea of a beano to NYC might sound brilliant to some but I think this will infuriate a lot of other supporters. What about the ones who have purchased a season ticket? Thank god I didn't get one, the way this sport is going I won't be watching it at all next season. I am glad someone else thinks like I do! This again will push the game at grass roots further down the pecking order if true, this latest project is not about Salford being part of the click? It is more about making the game a world spectacular for Sky with no supporters. Toronto, Catalans, London, Toulouse & New York to name a few, it will not include Swinton, Salford, Widnes or Leigh! Just look what has happened to the game since Super league started, soon I am afraid we will be joining that club of clubs being left behind. When Nigel Wood reportedly receives his fat cheque for services rendered & with the game bleeding away at grass roots, it tells me all I need to know about the games future, they do not care. Sorry for producing such a negative outcome for the future.

Couldn’t agree more mate. The south stand is unfortunately home to quite a few mouth breathing idiots who feel it’s acceptable to chuck a pint at a player because we’re getting beat. To be fair, everyone around me was fuming that a pint was thrown and were calling for him to be ejected. Like you said, we’re already a laughing stock to the rest of the league so we don’t need to add any fuel to that fire. Oh and while we’re at it... Can our fans (particularly in south stand) please stop blaming the ref for absolutely EVERYTHING. The ref doesn’t knock on, hold down, pass it forward, fail to deal with kicks, jump out of the line etc etc. It’s embarrasing. well said!

Last night wasn't just about how poor Welham and Johnson are. We have a distinct lack of pace in the backline and it reminds me of a few years ago when Noble was in charge. Last night it was a case of 3 or 4 Wigan attackers on Welham & Johnson. It doesn't mater how good you are, two against 3 or 4 are never going to win especially when the opposition have so much pace. As an observer last night I knew exactly when Wigan were going to switch the ball to the left edges. Why couldn't the team? Last night we dropped the ball about 6 times in attack and 3 or 4 times coming away from our own line. It's those unforced errors that lost us the game. You can't invite a team like Wigan to attack you without making the hard yards first. Dobbo's loss was so evident last night too. We didn't make the correct plays at the right time or control the pace of the game. If we don't address lack of pace, errors and game management we're in the bottom four. spot on! Reality check, we don't have the funds, I hope the trust can find a way of fixing the lack of pace in the back line & giving IW something to work with. Cannot see Manu playing again, hope we can work a deal, which frees up an opportunity to replace. Not sure why we have loaned Olpherts out when we are lacking pace out wide, although I trust IW judgement.

Hopefully we will push for the remaining sponsorship at the game on Friday night. As a member of the trust I would like to see a news letter reaching all members, only a small proportion of those who have joined have contributed. last time I looked there were 62 supporters who had contributed, personally I think this is a poor return. I think the sooner Salford fans realise we really are on our own, the sooner we will understand the task in front of the trust & all its supporters.
I have friends who follow everywhere but don't buy a season ticket because they are able to get a match day ticket cheaper than a season ticket works out, I could use the same route & so could some of my fellow supporters I attend matches with, sooner or later these people who are good supporters will realise we need every penny we can get & need to support the club through the season ticket.

Not ideal preparation, however we must move on & get behind the squad, there will be many more twists & turns & I refuse to enter into all the negativity before a ball has been kicked.

I think sponsoring a player shows the enormity of the task facing the new board, I thought we would it the target of £3000 pretty quickly.
