He’s a business man who didn’t grow up a Salford fan - he didn’t make his money by giving it away. I don’t get this argument that he owes us in some way. He does not owe us anything & it is is right to spend his cash how he likes. I suppose when you put money into the Rugby League but see your home City club struggling & actively use images of being just a local guy who loves Salford, you might think he would be happy to show some support. Maybe being a successful business man he does not see a future for us?

When is Mr Childs going to be called out, it is beyond being a bad match official, this guy as form against Salford, the decision was not even controversial he clearly knocked on. Does anyone believe the other way round it would have remotely been given. I know guys who have recently stop going because they believe the odds are stacked against us, I am beginning to think these guys are right. I hope the club have asked for an explanation! Well done Salford great performance, made me proud to be a Salford supporter, you deserved more 1 to 17? I actually think he made the right call - well his hands were tied by the call on the field that it was a try anyway. The Saints player went to ground with both hands on the ball. The last thing the video ref can see is the right hand on the ball. You can’t see on the video if his right hand (not the left which everyone is focusing on) ever comes off the ball. As the video ref can’t see the right hand he has no evidence to overturn the on the field decision. It’s harsh but nowt he could do. Although I don't agree with your assessment, however assuming you are right, if the boot was on the other foot do you seriously believe Salford would have been awarded the try?

Which is why next season unless something miraculous happens we will see a fall in crowds, the football team getting promoted will leave some with a choice to make, watch us wallow around or watch a successful, well funded football team on the brink of Great things. I'm not a football fan but I know which I'd choose. I am one of those who support both Rugby & football, rugby league will always be my first love, however I chose to go to Wembley with 3 other red devil season ticket holders on Saturday. It was great to finally see my home town club win something at Wembley. Before you stick the knife in I am a red devils season ticket holder, gold member & paid for a ticket for the HKR game, I was surprised how many SRD fans I did see at Wembley.I think the big issue for SRD is the lack of success over the years, Salford City will not affect Salford Red Devil fans but it will affect the clubs ability to attract new young fans who are most defiantly being attracted to the football club.

who are the current board members making all the financial decisions within our club? Who is also responsible for all the marketing & sponsorship deals we are attracting?
This is not a negative question, just curious on the structure as we do seem to have got ourselves on a level footing.

Dixon, Not sure what game you watched but it was not the one I watched? Hasting ran his blood to water, in the second half he was injured but refused to come off. It was not him that got outpaced on the right edge twice with the same move. Wigan are a quality side & with all its big guns back yesterday, it was always going to be difficult. I would say Lui needs to take a look at his form, seems a little off the pace to me. We were always in the game, they just had a little bit more quality in open play & this was reflected in the score at the end of the game, sorry but cannot believe the mentality of some fans slagging off Hastings!

well done Ian Watson & his back room staff, I thought although at times it was not pretty it was a professional performance, in rugby league to nil any team shows how hard the team worked on defence.
I though Josh Jones & Gil Dudson stood out for me, very happy with that performance.

I am sorry I raised the issue again, however we seem to score the same own goal each season & never seem to learn from past mistakes. I understand at the time orders are placed cash flow is at its worst, however as a club surely we are able to commit a relatively low outlay with a guaranteed return from guesstimating previous shirt sales without too much risk?

So frustrating, my daughter bought me the new home shirt for Christmas, unfortunately it was too small, she now need to post back at her expense & wait until mid February before new stock arrives. As she wanted me to have as a Christmas gift she purchased another gift unrelated to Salford Rugby league club. Surely as a professional club we need to do better with merchandise as this is one of the few areas we have access to making some money?

A big well done to the club, this is the kind of positive news the club lacked for so long

Can someone please explain how we accumulated 5 million In debt from MK’s tenure. I know he dumped a load of debt on us when he left. We now have the original debt we had when he joined. To lose that amount in a relatively short time smacks of really bad financial management. We had less debt from over 30yrs of JW ownership😳 It fails the ‘so what’ test. Whatever money he spent,or wasted, and whether it was bad management or not,he has gone and his debt has gone with him. In the meantime,we’ve had 5 years of Superleague which we most definitely wouldn’t have had without his,or someone else’s,intervention. Where we’re at now is that we have a competitive squad and we exist. We have the same debt we had when he arrived,no more no less, so where exactly is the problem. I was very critical of Koukash when he was running things but I really can’t see the problem here. I agree with Bonitared on this one, I have never been a fan of MK, however unless I am missing something we are 5 years further on from the financial church meltdown. he has written off his debt, which he had little chance of ever getting back.Whatever we think, he has taken a huge chunk of debt from around the club & made the club a more attractive proposition, we are still in super league & seem to be heading in the right direction with fans engaging in the club, if this is the legacy he leaves us with I am happy with the direction we are heading.

I have always preferred Sunday, not so much of a rush. I have always said why do they not do The Wigan, Warrington, St Helens fixtures on Friday nights & all the rest on Sunday. We need income & we are more likely to attract more by playing on Sunday with fans travelling from Yorkshire. Don't forget over the last two years we have lost the income of Leigh & now Widnes & replaced with London not going to generate added income, so fully support Sunday matches.

I fly now & again to Toronto on business What the game should be doing is fixing Leigh, instead of promoting the game for TV, I understand the game needs sponsorship but this is not the way forward. Come on London, the odds are stacked against you. For the record,I think the Toronto experiment will ultimately fail but I could certainly be wrong and it’s worth a shot. Fix Leigh ? How ,exactly ? Why not Hunslet ? All clubs, including the Wath Brow and Egremonts of this world find their level. If they can sustain full time,or part time,or just amateur then that’s natural selection. It’s the way it should be. I hope Leigh return to former glories but if they can’t sustain a full time squad then that’s the way it is,as it would be for us. Having said all that,I hope London win I take your point, I took Leigh as an example but really aimed my post at the state of rugby league in general.
