Was down at the ground picking up some tickets and heard that the Club is short of player sponsors and someone was talking about crowdfunding, however that works.
Just wondering as it's our Club how about DEVIL TALK members sponsoring a player?
Not sure how it's done but what do people think? It would put Devil Talk on the map.

I suppose it depends on how much it costs and what it breaks down to for each of us that wants to contribute.

Agree. I think we need to see how many are up for it as well. I try and see from the Club what the deal is.
How much do you think people would pay. I think there are benefits as well in terms of tickets etc which could be prizes in the score predictions.
So that's you and me in C. Anybody else?

Excellent idea. Not sure what it would cost, but definitely worth looking into. Think people would be willing as long as it didn't cost the earth. Be good publicity for deviltalk too. Would club be willing to advertise deviltalk.co.uk more? More members, more cash to sponsor.

From what I can gather from an existing sponsor, it's £500 for one of the new younger boys to a few thousand for one of the established first team players. One of the new guys might be good. Raise each other's profile. I think lots of goodies go with the sponsorship which can be used as prizes.
So if you're interested just put your name down. It's probably manageable. There are enough people using and enjoying the site.
The Devil Talk Community player.
Probably around 100 - 200 using the site regularly so it is very doable

I did say ages ago that there should be an option when paying for a ST on the chucky of increasing the payment.
But if we all agree I'll lob a £10 a month into the pot so we can sponsore a player.

That's fantastic MR I was thinking that we could raise say a grand or so with people just putting a minimum payment of say a tenner in upto whatever they could afford.
Say 30-50 people putting in a one off payment.
I assume this is how a community club works😉
So let's have some support please
