Do we know which players are available to sponsor? I'm sure some of them already have sponsorship by the likes of Salmon Kings etc.
Also, just thinking - you get to keep the player's shirt after the last game of the season. If, as Deviltalk sponsors we get to sponsor our own player perhaps we could make the player's shirt first prize in @michiganred's Eric Shaw Prediction League? Just a thought.

Bandgeekmafia78 We dont all do the prediction league, I would much prefer a draw at the end of the season, 1 ticket for every £10 you put in.
Also the same for anything else ie functions etc to do with the sponsership of the player, and if you can't attend draw again, but don't waste any thing.
Just my thought on it.

Finally got to it today.
I understand what you are saying about the signed shirt etc Buxton. Another idea with the shirt is to auction it off to raise more coffers for the club (although I quite fancy having one hanging on my office wall in Yorkshire!!)

Not all of us can afford to bid a couple of hundred quid for a signed shirt, but can afford to help sponser a player, like i said i'm happy with 1 ticket in a draw for every £10 put in. that would still give the guys who can put in the most more chance to win the shirt, but also gives everyone else a chance to win it aswell.

Not paid mine yet as not been down to the stadium to see if paying for 2 season tickets and only getting one is doable at the clubs end.
Also going to suggest that next season people have a minimum amount to pay by DD but can opt into paying more to help the club in your own way.

I think sponsoring a player shows the enormity of the task facing the new board, I thought we would it the target of £3000 pretty quickly.
