In football parlance, has he lost the dressing room ? Drop 5 of your best players and he may have done. If he has,he's toast

If I were the Doc and there is no move or name change I'd give Toovey a call and find a way to keep him in the UK. Watson is limited, good but limited and he needs a wiser head involved in the system at the club to help him and Toovey has that.
Watson head coach, Toovey as DOR for me would be a young and exciting set up that is marketable in SL & NRL.

Getting things in perspective, look how bad Wigan, Saints, Leeds have been when they've had lots of injuries. We need more depth to stay in contention. Two weeks break now, which is what everyone needs, then 4 wins, Cas in the play offs and Leeds at Old Trafford. Just glad we're not at Wembley; now that could be embarrassing. If it were just injuries I would agree in part, we haven't missed anywhere near as many as Wigan. But it's not just that, it's the dropping of players which is the concern. Big test in 2 weeks, I thought after cas stuffed Leeds Brian mc was on his way and Leeds were doomed. Up to watto to do the same and turn it around. Really hope he can

Im fuming with that performance last night that was as bad a performance as ive seen, attitude all wrong or just the fact some players aren't good enough. This is on watto lots of rumours going round he has lost the dressing room. Lose the next 4 and he is under real pressure. I love watto but im not paying good money if there not going to try. Players should been fired up its wigan ffs

How do we know who's dropped and who's injured? The club keeps all its cards so close to its chest.
It seems to be the same at the end of each season. I suppose the advantage this year is that at least we're not in the fight for survival.

Looking at things realistically, it isn't really a surprise.
The team worked hard to ensure that the experience of the previous season would not be repeated. They achieved it against a lot of odds. Small squad, unfashionable players, and a recent history of not hitting the mark. You could say that failure is in our DNA as a club, so to do what they have is great credit to everyone. That herculean effort to beat the odds with a small squad of basically utility players takes its toll. Injuries and re-shuffles dilute the strongest part of the unit and expose the fragile nature of running a successful squad based on utility and small numbers. Mentally and physically the team seem broken and are struggling to overcome the fatigue of not only injuries and re-shuffles but also trying to do it against the very best in the competition. it's disappointing as a fan, but not surprising if you look at it with a critical eye.
The season is nearly over and I'm sure that the Club, coach and owner have learnt from this seasons successes and failures and how to put them right for next season. We as fans need to be able to see the big picture without emotion and instead of heaping pressure on the club, help support it going forward.
We all get emotionally involved, myself included, but in the cold light of day I'm at least happy that the season will just fizzle out disappointingly rather than have the stress of battling for survival as has been the norm. It's a weird feeling, but not the worst thing in the world.

The last three months have been dire five drives and a bad kick. That's down to Watson having a small squad that's down to Koukash.

Too many just going through the motions and shirking responsibilities. We looked physically dead on our feet and worryingly so early on in the game. Too many heads were down after 20 minutes and at no stage did I see one player trying to rally everyone up. I think it's the attitude that's p***ed me off more than anything else. Wasn't expecting miracles last night but that was unacceptable. With wakey and saints both losing we're lucky to still be in with a shout. Two massive home games now and simply need to win both. Hopefully the break will do em good both physically and mentally.

The last three months have been dire five drives and a bad kick. That's down to Watson having a small squad that's down to Koukash. Yes it has been dire. The second part of your statement needs evidence. It is down to Watson, who tells MK what he does and doesn't need. MK has repeatedly said that he provides the cash when Watson wants people to come in. So really, your statement should read... 'The last three months have been dire five drives and a bad kick. That's down to Watson having a small squad.' I'm neither a fan or a hater of MK, but it's obvious that peoples prejudices creep into their thinking.

He knew we didn't have an academy/reserve this year but decided to put faith in a squad of utility players that can cover each others position. This may have been his choice or his hand might have been forced by the fact that the available pool of players desperate to play for Salford is quite small. Or a combination of both. Money isn't an issue with regards to the squad. MK is quite happy to throw money at players if Watson wants it. He and Watson have both been quoted as saying such. So, yes, it was his choice. Possibly his only choice under circumstances. You're looking for clear-cut black and white answers when the truth will be more complicated and grey.

We must remember, with respect to getting players, that we were a minute away from relegation and so could only start picking up players after the rest had chosen.
So this year we've started early with 3 players already and we can have a good go at the open market. This is where we miss Sheens though, remember he got Lui and BMM.
I still think we need a Sheens or Kear (someone who's been there and done it) to help Watson in bad times and to help plan the future.
