Huge game this one if we have any aspirations of getting top4. If we keep playing the way we have bar the wigan game might as well just pack up and take 8th spot. So for me this a test of character as lets be honest we've shocking. Hopefully a decent crowd against quality Cas

I think we need someone in the Sheens mould at the club. What happens next will be decided by the owner and what investment is put in nest season.

Id be furious if watson is even considered getting the chop he has been amazing. I feel some players are just not performing whether thats down bad attitude, injuries, or just lack of confidence. One thing i do know Welham needs dropping 69 missed tackles is the most in the league

Dixon you never fail to depress me. Fourth and cup semi, then firstly the team and the coaches aren't bothered and secondly some aren't good enough. Try and celebrate what we have achieved mate, then you might enjoy life a little.
Assume if we don't do the double next year you won't watch them anymore.

Have said it all along the enmasse retention might not be the wisest move, think the motivation was removed when it started.

Retention is fine so long as we add to the squad. There are a few there who should be second sting, but we don't have that luxury at the moment and they are playing week in week out. Watson to stay, 2 or 3 improvements in important positions, top 6 should be a realistic regular target

Come of it the form over the last 3 months as been woefull to put it mildly. We got to a semi final and lost to an average Wigan outfit.Yes we kept out of the bottom 4 so that's success. Now the hard bit repeating that next season or going the way of Widnes.Where you putting your money.Stand still and you go back.

Yes Wigan very average; only 9 internationals in the team.

Yes Wigan very average; only 9 internationals in the team. In comparison to some Wigan teams very average, that's from their own spectators.

Of course you're right again. Wigan had one front line player out, Salford 5, but of course it's all Watsons fault for not having 5 internationals in reserve.
Get real Dixon, they had a full team, we struggled for players and it was clos, closer than most of us thought it would be.
To relieve all our misery I've arranged a variable season ticket for you; it let's you into all the matches for whatever team is top of the league that week.

First of all you don't have to sort anything out for me,Wigan had players out when we won there. What does that prove only that our squad is not big or good enough.like I said success for us was keeping out of the bottom four we have done that so we have been successful.Like I also said the hard part starts now, repeating that feat next season. And like others on the forum have said our form over the last few months as been woefull.

I think we'll manage to get out of this slump in form and turn things around.
The dip in performance levels has coincided with players being injured, and I genuinely think that the lads gave it their all at the start of the season and are suffering from a bit of burnout.

We cannot fault anybody in the squad. The effort as been evident all season. And that's all anyone can ask for.All I said we have achieved what we all wanted you can't sit on your laurels you have to keep going forward or try to.Top level sport his unpredictable ask Widnes.

Is there a right or wrong here? Sign players up we are being proactive yet taking motivation, don't sign them up and we lose them at the end of the year?
We haven't punched above our weight, we deserved 4th or higher but we lost key players like Carney mossop Flanagan brinning at crucial times, coupled with players having a spectacular drop in form like bibby welham Johnson even BMM in recent weeks.
I think Watson has done a spectacular job this year for a young up and coming coach and he will learn massively, I also think most SL sides would have him in a heartbeat so I consider us lucky to have his services.
Whatever happens now it's been a fantastic season that is sadly frizzling out, but we learn, keep the players together and we will there or there abouts next year.
