Get through the semi and achieve something that the great team of the seventies couldn't. Win it and become instant legends. The thing that pleases me most though is that this squad won't be ruthlessly dismantled by the vultures like it was in the nineties.

So wigan it is then? Think they'll have a fair few players back and firing by then. Will be tough, but doable!

As I was watching today's game,I thought 'anyone but Hull' I was rooting for Cas because I just didn't fancy Hull. Hopefully Leeds will do us all a favour

Thought Cas looked gassed today but Hull are a top side and glad we avoided them in the draw. Was impressed with them when they spanked us not so long back but we were dog sh*t that day and looked a bit jaded ourselves. Anyway, not looking too far ahead. We'll need a repeat of our best form to beat the pies, but this is very doable...

As was said earlier, just glad it's not Hull, they were good against us and awesome yesterday. Their backs are like second row forwards, shows that we need a bit more size and speed in our backs.
So let's beat www, Whinging Wayne's Wigan and then Leeds in the final. It'll just be great if/when we beat Wigan to see his miserable face complaining about everything under the sun but not complementing anybody who beats them. Thought Cooke was very good in complementing Salford when we beat Wakefield.
By the way, if you didn't know, Wigans name 'pie eaters'. I was told doesn't come from pies in Wigan but from a pit strike when Wigan miners went back and Leigh miners didn't: so they were accused of eating humble pie, hence pie-eaters. Can anybody confirm this?

The Club has said that we have only been allocated ~4000 tickets for the Semi Final. That's crazy.

What's Wigans allocation, do we know ? Not that should we be bothered how many they take. Whatever happens we sing frostsrt to finish, to have made it this far is an achievement.
On an OT issue I noticed Matty Ashurst on a disciplinary, nothing stands out from the game but I could have easily missed it I suppose ?
