It will be really interesting if he ever has to go through the way he undertook the survey and explain the results and the outcome.
Hopefully, in the fullness of time the Doc will see through him and the charade. How does he qualify to do it anyhow?

Has anyone been chosen from here or know anyone who has?
Think as RedJack suggests asking how Paul is qualified for this type of important job would be a starter for me.

Sorry Carnster a name change should not be on the agenda. Now it is if the crowds pick in the next couple of weeks, you and I know that is not going to happen or if they do it will be minimal.Yes we are where we are but we have some hard games coming up,if we finnish in the top six I will be delighted.I spoke to Ian Blease yesterday,I asked him about what is going on behind the scenes I did not get far but he did tell me it is being handled by Paul. You get noticed by winning things and we are a long way from that at the moment. One small step for mankind this guy wants a giant leap,it's not going to happen.Teams in the past have had a good season then the next fell away,it could happen to us.Koucash has to provide the money to make sure it does not even if he needs to get someone on board to help him. A good example of a team dropping off a cliff is Widnes who were near the top of Superleague around the halfway point of last years regular season. Some armchair observers may think this could still happen to Salford. I believe Widnes had already dropped to 8th by the end of the Magic Weekend last year so it's unfair on Salford to make that comparison IMO.

Also not to neglect that this seasons form isn't "a flash in the pan", but as you recall last season the signs were there. Up to Easter we were doing very well, in a couple of big games we missed out by a couple of points and then the points deduction. We all know it knocked the stuffing out of the guys and again there were a few games that we missed out on by a couple of points. Last year we were easily a top 8 team and had we kept the momentum probably would've scraped the top 6.

Got a invite any points anyone want bringing up ? Seems like you'll be at the ground when the announcement is made. Got to ask what Robbie Pauls exact remit is and how is he qualified? What is wrong with the gradual increase in attendances this season? Rome wasn't built in a day and all that. Can you ask why the club and council don't work hand in hand on marketing games? Nothing in any council venue, on council vehicles, on council websites or phone messages mentioning the club when it would be easy and cost effective to do so. Likewise why they don't involve Salford University students who are studying marketing and media? Cost free way of getting fresh ideas and a more youthful audience involved.

Got a invite any points anyone want bringing up ? Nice one boggles61 . I'd be interested to know whether the Club have considered launching an official iPhone/Android app to be used as a marketing tool. The vast majority of the Club's digital marketing is targeted at Social Media (Twitter/Facebook) but this strategy relies on the end-user having to seek this information themselves. An app that could send 'push' notifications to mobile phone users (93% of the population) would mean that the information comes directly to you, and not the other way round. It could be used for advertising ticket deals, changes to kick off times and dates, provisional 19-man squads, other news etc. Thanks. It would be good to hear how it goes if you can put something on the site later or tomorrow?

Hoping you have time to ask why the name Manchester will guarantee extra fans: not investment but fans. Most firms invest for sales.marketing or a combination of both. They do not want a decrease in fans' numbers as then their market is less. Please ask for proof that the name Manchester will increase fans.

Ok brief summary , club are holding 10 of these meetings with 12 people each time over 2 weeks. Tonight was number 4 , all the meetings are being recorded! Lots of good points made and stated by fans there , no one from the club just the analyst company guy who got the message which has been a constant theme at all the meetings so far "NO NAME CHANGE" we are Salford and proud of the clubs heritage and history ! This was a very emotive point as you can imagine and it was stressed what little fan base we may have would disappear , history is everything , moving ground is bad enough but change of name no !!!!
The club needs to market much much better and actually invest in the clubs future with well thought out initiatives and ideas of which lots were tabled , quite anti Kounkash at times as it seems he's impossible to talk to and work with unless you agree with everything and pretty much went on in that vain .

Thanks Boogles
The club wasn't represented at this? I find that bewildering, though can see them avoiding it for fear of the truths being told more vociferously to them in person.

No problem Michigan , it was strange to have a forum for debate where you can't ask any questions!
