Must say MR you love trying people in different positions, so what is it to be Jones or Carney at centre ;-)

Now I've seen the weather forecast, I think tactically we need to play more narrow and obviously keep our penalty count low (and ball spillage)!! - with our place kicking looking better and better, lets grind them into the dirt and keep them in their own half to try and force errors. Having said that I'd love it to be a 50 point thriller!!! (With 44 of them going to us of course

I think it would be foolish to not have our (on paper) best player on the bench and you can't 'rest' Lui or Dobson.
Nice predicament

I agree, I just can't see;
1. Having one of the most exciting potential game changers in SL playing from the bench.
2. Carney being overly happy with being used from the bench.
As people have stated there's a lot of games to come over a shorty space of time so shifting people about may be forced rather than IW having to make that decision.

Let's see: in defence you tend to move half-backs wide and in attack, so long as they are near the play-the-ball, they can be either side or both open side. So why not have 3 half-backs on the meadow? Sau rarely passes so it would be a bonus. We'll miss him in other facets of the game so compensate by three brains on there.

What is wrong with Sau?
Looking at his Instagram hes doing loads of exercises.
Wouldn't surprise me if hes in the squad. we all know watto changes it in the last minute.

Think there was talk Junior had tweaked something a couple of weeks ago and had played through it, I'd prefer him to play as I think he is the leader on the field for the back 5 but if he isn't 100% it's worth getting him so in time for Easter as losing to Leigh will ruin my season regardless of the rest of the results.

According to Auntie Junior has an illness and has been replaced in the squad by Bibby, JJ to start then unless Watson has taken my most sage advice and will play TC in the centres

With the prospect of a win meaning we go joint top (albeit for only a few hours!) and big names this week committing their future to the club, that's all the team talk I'd need!!! Roll on 8PM!

Hope we can turn it on for the neutrals and lapsed fans watching tonight and finally show that we have turned a bit of a corner
Probably feel more nervy about the game due to the growing expectation, something we Salford fans simply ain't used to. Never mind though, the bookies still think we're hopeless: Salford +4 on the handicap...

Saints are in good form with their half back combination finally on the park. I'd have them as slight favourites.
Key thing here is not to get depressed about it if we lose, so long as we run them close and work hard.
Can't make it tonight, at work. Wish I was going! Should be an entertaining one at least.
With Child reffing it's doubly important we don't get into penalty mode. He tends to amplify a situation like that and we could end up with a big count against. Keep it clean and we stay in the match.
Have fun!

Wonder is there is an option of trying human centre? I know Sau is a bit of a beast, but that seems harsh

What a result, everyone stood out f-ing brilliant. Boy can this salford team defend and give us the platform. Ref tried to spoil it for me but wow Salford. Wow.
