Yes it’s simple C We spend too much money each year We don’t generate enough money each year If you don’t want people to ask questions about the running of the Club…transparency ets…don’t ask them for hard earned money to become shareholders and season ticket holders then end up with the Club in special measures. People invest and expect to know what’s happening to their money by those who are paid to manage it. Is it not normal to ask about the management/ mismanagement of assets as a shareholder? It seems one or two have got it right on here…why bother buying shares or season tickets….just turn up when you wish and watch whatever’s there…don’t invest money or time I don't actually disagree with you on too much. However, it baffles me why some fans only ever contribute to negative discussion, or at least appear to. It's a RL club. Like any religion, RL is something you're supposed to enjoy, but in effect a lot of those faithful seem to suffer it. Go outside and enjoy the fresh air for a bit. But don't leave here forever. Just do a Russ, and make a dramatic exit only to reappear like nothing happened a week later... I will second that. |

C many thanks but I still climb mountains, play golf, tennis, ski and sail so I do get a fair amount of fresh air…oh and watch lots of live sport
In truth I really feel for the Club and as you have probably guessed feel we have/are being let down by those who are using our funds…possibly self appointed, probably being remunerated…but are they able? I consider we’re also really missing the skills, knowledge and ability of Bleasy….who took the Club forward when Marwan left…although it’ll save a few bob
So I will give you a break til later on in the year…to the relief of most positively thinking or happy to be led or convinced by rhetoric but loyal fans😉
Oh and I’m away again

Two questions I won’t ask is what’s that tune Russ and is that ‘Mr Lancashire Day’ related to the deceased flat earthier from Turkey days.
I will ask what and where is the CBS board.
Maybe and correct if I am wrong, but my presumption is SRD is a community entity whose members elected a board who appoints the operating directors and acts as scrutiny. Perhaps I am wrong. Tell me.
Imo I think the future is bright for SRD. The squad is fine. The stadium deal - if it ever gets signed - should increase revenues.

Great question the CBS board are supposed to hold Paul King and Co to account. In truth they don’t, they didn’t know what was happening and why last week. The Ops board just make the decisions full stop. I don’t believe the model works it's clearly failing in terms of CBS input and accountability. I also heard that commercial sponsors are down so Chris Irwin has gone and Claire Butters is in to drive commercial revenues. Good luck Claire. |

Well I ask the question, simply as I’d like the club to be proactive in learning from the events this week, adverting any reputational damage, embrace any support from the RFL and be readied to take on fully the advantages of the Stadium deal.
