With us already through into the play offs we have a free hit this round. Wigan need to win to secure the LLS and beat KR, Matt Peet will go full strength. For Salford a Win (Which is unlikely) or a Leigh win see's us 4th and a home playoff tie. Our likely opponents Saints/Leigh play each other in what will be a massive contest.
Does Rowley play a weaker side? Do we give Bourouh, Cust, Hellewell, Atkin, Big Sids last Hurrah, etc game time? I'd be tempted to rest Sneyd and Brierley and rotate the forwards, Olmondroyd needs game time. What does everyone think? For me this is a game we can approach however we like. Having players fit is more important than beating Wigan.

Shoot me down for being negative but I would personally rest a lot Wigan need to win to get 1st there abit to big and strong for us so I would throw in Connell cust Morgan borough sidlow Dixon hellewell the lot!I have a feeling Leigh will beat saints as if they don’t they can’t make playoffs so we would get 4th!just don’t see the point of losing a sneyd or a McDonald for the playoffs when we can give them week off!negative probably!

Sky have made a complete Town Halls of it again by moving it forward so we’ll have little resting time

There was discussion this season about the maximum number of games players could appear in for welfare purposes. I don't know if any of ours are near the maximum, but it would influence my selection for Thursday.

It's always a negative decision to rest players and the fact that top 4 clubs do it all the time is based more on the large squads they have.
If history is anything to go by,there is no evidence that it helps and HKR would every right to accuse us about such an action.

Its a catch 22 because one hand we go full strength put in a good performance then great the other hand we pick up injuries suspensions and have a weakened team for our play off match!i still think leigh will beat saints and we will be at home and we certainly dont want to be without the likes of sneyd macdonald watkins partington etc because of something that happens against wigan!

Wigan want the LLS amd we want to finish as high as possible ....er I don't think there's much to talk about really.
I'm not sure resting some is ever the answer to be honest.
