Hearing were resting everyone, no Sneyd hankinson Nikorima....Cust is playing. They are not bothered about the home tie in the playoffs as it's a split gate and if we play saints the club will get more. Fwiw I think Leigh will beat saints at home but it's a sad state of how the sport is.

I heard it was a split gate and Salford didn't mind the away fixture hence resting everyone, cannot confirm the facts tho |

6 first team regulars rest of squad made up of reserves, can't blame rowls, some of those players where close to having to be rested anyway

I think it makes perfect sporting sense without bringing finances into it. We shouldn't risk our key players in a match which we have little chance of winning and the outcome of which has little material impact on us. We've beaten both Leigh at home and Saints away this season, so shouldn't fear either match.

It is in a RFL pot that is divided out after the GF. Personally rather a home game due to our handsome form this season at Fortress Barton.

Listening to Paul Rowley interview on the supporters trust site, he hinted that he had to consider the new rules (I don't know much about them) regarding playing minutes. Said certain players could miss start of next season if they played (name checked Sneyd & Watkins) so I'm not at all surprised with his decision. Hope the young lads getting a game don't get demoralised because a full strength Wigan could post quite a score, I think.
