God forbid I want "fans" of our club to actually support the club and the board instead of idolising other clubs/owners and continually slagging their own.🤷♂️ Some people love to dish it out on here but then start crying when it's returned with gusto. I won't lose any sleep.😁 Maybe I should just put a "😉" after every post so I can then claim I've been misunderstood.... That's a bit illogical SS. Everyone of the SRD fans on here is an SRD fan through and through. I hope that clears it up.
Not one of them sees only the good in Degsy and only terrible things with our board.
Dishing it out is not great from anyone.

Completely left field but feel Salford fans may be interested in the following.
A few days ago it was posted on a RL forum that Hull FC recently completed a PC502 at Companies house listing Adam Pearson holdings co ( Hull fc 2011 Ltd) as the person with significant control, but backdated to 2016.
This doesn't actually change anything but it is further confirmation of the fact Pearson has extracted his original stake via the holding co in recent years.
Could this be him preparing his exit ?
Then yesterday there was a posting via Social media (from a Fc fan) going under the alias of Ted Twell just stating Salford.
All rather strange but who knows ?

The thing is if we don't admire Degsys'/ Leighs' efforts we might , just might be being jealous, rather than thoughtful or aspirational for our own club.
Leigh isn't a complete blueprint anymore that the Bulls in their pomp but there are a few pointers we could all learn from both.
And IMO real fans are ST holders and the ones that turn up week in week out no matter how awful the results.
The board are f f f fantastic but they are probably the first ones to admit you can always do better.

There will be a correlation between good news and season ticket sales so let’s encourage (as co-owners) our family, friends and colleagues to jump on board the good ship Salford Red Devils next season 👹👹 Russ I'll make this easy to understand, this is a positive thread on our club............. |

Within 20 minutes of Salford 1963 posting positive stuff as above, JJR posts this. Nobody on here cares about Leigh, this is sarcasm and deliberate to mock the board moreover Paul King. That is why he gets pelters off Salford 1963, Salford Slim and LH Red. There is never any positivity from him towards the board just hero worship to Rowley and Blease. That is why those who post on this forum respond in such a way. |

Here is one for you, our Club if we get the stadium deal done can be more than Leigh ever will be. Here is why, we modestly make money then become self-sufficient - we are the best run club in SL, within ten years the land around the ground changes forever, for example a thermal spa resort (250 Million investment). The potential is massive, Salford Council know this. The development will change Salford's and Trafford's landscapes forever, on-field needs to happen too but the Salford Community Stadiums landscape will evolve, that is exciting our locality will see big investment which means growth opportunities for our club. Leigh have done great but they rely on one man who has once threatened to walk and had his disputes. What they do not have is our potential for growth and the biggest catchment area in SL. So let Sky roll out their entertainment officer in leopard print every few months, I'll expect that we continue to grow our attendances in coming season and become solvent and successful.

And the thread is about the club statement and the statement was not a positive and the effects it produced among fans could hardly be called optimistic.
