I think the world, as we know it, has might come to an end!
Though a new dual reg agreement can only help.

WRD I don’t think anybody knows who’s doing what within the Club or what the structures and responsibilities are now We’ve never had much info out for many years but it’s getting worse…too many unanswered questions, lots of them v basic and I know a number of people are sadly losing interest. Maybe we might start a thread ..’As Supporters, things we’d like to know’…😉 I understand the skepticism of JJR and WRD on the IMG plan and CBS. I have just got an email outlining the need to be better in certain areas and reset the CBS Sub Committees. 'Our Owner Sub-Committees are now more important than ever as we work to gain those additional 1.03 points needed to reach an A grade. We’re therefore looking to relaunch these with all new focus areas, if you’d like to take part and you’re able to commit to 1-2 hours a month please email us on owners@salfordreddevils.net'. What has been happening for the last 12 months with the CBS movement? I initially offered my time to a CBS Sub Committee but in all honestly prefer to assist with the Supporters Trust. So we get a vague email outlining gaps in IMG points and how to score more points can be obtained. Only them in the know can impact the financials as no detail is offered. IMO the CBS collective has failed, rebooted for the third time its delivered nothing other than a membership renewal for the club. I won’t be renewing my membership. I don’t want to get negative but I’m disappointed, as Maurice has said I’d rather get behind the Supporters Trust.

Well Maurice I am sure the sponsors el al would be rushing in if us or FC were replaced by a club with half a stadium, the kind of pitch more suited to punish Sisyphus, whose locals recently voted in a sectarian MP.
It’s a culture war. Not just us progressives against the various threads of pettiness and reaction. It’s those who want to strength, even expand RL and those who’d dump the French and have a league of Yorkshire clubs in decaying grounds to a gaggle of pensioners and local Butch Dingles.
Talking of which, it’s mention on here that certain ‘business folk’ are alleged to have ‘invested’ monies into rugby clubs, gained the IMG points and withdraw those pennies.
Is this true? Links please……….
Imo RL needs a proper Financial Fair Play rule book or else IMG gradings will mean nought.

The surprise grade As for Cas and Wakey might be explained by it and I think Dodgy Derek admitted doing it for Leigh

IMG getting over four hundred thousand a year!
They saw the RFL coming .....
The talk of Golf as an inroad into the the marketing and media footprint which smacks of desperation and lack of direction.
Sort of reminds me of the cheers for Musk in the US government "we must involve business" and no one seems to acknowledge Trump is the very model of a modern major businessman!

My biggest worry is still no deal with the council which is pretty poor really, again as a community club for this to be hidden in a podcast is not good enough the club should be all over the media to put pressure on to get a deal done unless I misheard it it sounded like it hadn’t even fully gone through yet!there really needs to be more urgency from the club to get this sorted because we are not going to get an a without moving things along!

There was always going to be delays and as neither Peel nor other interested parties nor the tory have our bests interest at heart you are right to be worried.
If it had been Sale the local branch of the Freemasons would have ensured a quick conclusion to all this.
