No one is having ago at King LH Red he is now our newly appointed CEO. My issue is I see limited value in our elected CBS it’s almost a voluntary non exec with limited power to hold the club board accountable. Whilst I have shares I’m not overly sold on how the CBS works and its effectiveness. With a change in government the goal posts for the promised match funding have moved.
The reality is with IMG big improvements need to be made next season. Rowley keeping the team performing is one part the rest now sits with Claire as our COO. Hopefully King can conclude the stadium lease and Claire can grow our commercial business.
We are in a tricky position if we don’t improve as I guarantee RL Commercial will want to promote York and Bradford.
I actually think Butters and King speaking to the CBS owners on how we move forward would be positive, things are building well on the playing side.

"I would also like to point out that I think the club will smash these silly IMG gradings in much the same way they approached the question of getting an Academy. "

Well there would have to be some massive backhanders and fake figures produced for Bradford and York to be above us as I said we’re at 13.87 the stadium deal is another point giving only 0.13 to find to be a grade a unless there’s 13 grade a clubs no one can be relegated and as Bradford and York performance wise won’t be improving and there stadiums are at max points they can get how will they get in front of us without someone massively altering figures?!the closest one was Toulouse and even if they had beat Wakefield they wouldn’t have beat our score!

Paul king is on bbc gmr after 2 today talking about the grading I’ve heard a clip where he rightly says img want sustainable yet certain clubs if they lost there owners money that they put in would no longer be sustainable if you went off clubs accounts clubs like St Helens would get a bad score there in debt it’s just the owners drop this money in if that dropped there not sustainable!I mean img gave Halifax a decent score on finances yet they have just been hit with a winding up order!make it make sense!

These kind of things like the examples of Ofsted can have you second guessing yourself until you disappear up your own anus.

I am out but will try and listen to what King says, he cannot be too mouthy about the gradings even if it's bent on the surface. Clubs like Bradford and Cas have grounds that are not and should never be qualified as Super League standard.

I read an interview with Beaumont where he said the money he had gifted, written off and counted as sponsorship, made the difference for them getting a grade A. In other words he bought it, which he says is wrong. Wish I could remember where I read it to post a link. I couldn’t disagree with what he said.

I spent a little time yesterday comparing our IMG score with the rest, only to conclude if I put it on here, all I’d be doing is increasing the temperature on the metaphorical boiling pan of pish.
However I will leave this here. yeah.
An A grade would have been given if Salford had stayed at the Willows.
Fix on a correctly pixelating big screen, some LEDs (0.25) Primary tenancy (0.25) Utilisation (% of ground filled) (+0.33) And points for the monies from food and drink sold.
Crap isn’t it.

And oh yeah I wonder what the phrase ‘double due diligence’ means!?
Surely every clubs entry can be backed up and there is no erm ‘economical’ truthfulness? 🤫

A steaming pile of the stuff!
So far IMG have done nothing the RFL couldn't have done by insisting on a business set of achievable targets for every SL club or they'd be relegated.
And there is still no evidence that they have even broached the idea of increasing SL's media footprint!
