I hope we’re not borrowing too much money this season against ghost income…we shouldn’t get in the same mess as last year and players have to go

Yes, let’s follow the dream…let’s hope it’s not another nightmare….lemmings and cliffs…I hope not
As Rowley apparently said…you can’t sit on your hands and wait for the dream to happen

The club will need to work hard but the sport has to stop looking too northern, too small and too unambitious and without that the game will continue to look like the pokey corner shop compared to Sainsbury's.
And on that same note IMG look like just another absent partner in a long line of RL bums for dust!

In that erm ....article they said and I quote
"Salford’s socialist Mayor Paul Dennett ....." do they refer to Garrido as the absentee Landord bankrupt capitalist leader of the Tory group?
And if he is a socialist the Labour Party will soon get rid of him.

Who's not bothering about crowd numbers? Plenty of us on here are trying to introduce new fans as we know that's the only way the club can be truly sustainable by getting bums on seats and hopefully the club will be doing the same. Stadium security should give us further income streams which should, hopefully, allow us to invest further in backroom staff. It's no secret we have a tiny band of folk running the club compared to the "big clubs"

You and me both mate but what’s the Clubs plan….as has been said on here many times I never hear about a match outside the circle…Surely one of the prime responsibilities is to get bums on seats…enough excuses

When the Council take over sole ownership of the stadium and surrounding land, I hope they investigate the possibility of more access roads as many people seem to be put off attending games because of problems accessing the stadium for matches.

New Report says
City will use the land round the Stadium to become a Centre for Sports Leisure and Health….brilliant and a big bonus is that perhaps Salford City could play on the outside pitch… might fill it
It says a strategic Plan is being drawn up to make this a Centre for Leisure and Sports for all ages and abilities (a plan put forward by the Supporters Trust about 6 years ago) great it’s happening

Once the Council take full ownership and parking is under the control of the Club I expect (hope) the stadium parking to improve. I don't know how much it is this season but I paid £10 a couple of years ago which is extortionate - but that's down to the stadium management company, not the Club.
We used to park on the new road 'Western Gateway' but the Council have started issuing parking tickets to anyone parked there. If they are genuinely committed to the club and want it to succeed with increased crowds, parking as well as access/egress has to be sorted.

Hopefully, once the buy-out of Peel is completed, the Council will have open discussion sessions with the supporters of both clubs and the clubs themselves on what they feel needs to be done to improve the gameday experience to bring in additional fans and make the stadium purchase a success. However, I will not hold my breath for it...
