2 more finals to go, Watkins and Ollie to come back in so they'll have the energy to help us round the park next week, don't know where budgie found the legs for that break and stone aswell to back him up, never say die attitude though, I can see why brad pushed the FB because whilst on floor he gave him a little punch and brad retaliated, thankfully didn't cost us

Can't comment didn't see the game because of holiday. But I can say a wins a win and a good 2 points. If we make the play offs great if we don't it's not the end of the world,it's not a badge of honour.

What a crazy high octane high error game that was!!! Worryingly we looked blunt I'm attack and those two glaring handling errors aside, I thought we defended reasonably well. Brodie, haliwell and king the pick of our red shirted heros today. Gonna be a tough two final games but winnable, and if saints turn wire over next week who knows. One thing's for sure we have to cut out the handling errors and penalties next week to have at least half a chance

Liam Moore the best ref in SL. How Kendall gets the bigger games vs him I'll never know.
Classy break from Burgess, shame we've not been able to see more of that this season. His kick-through which led to the drop out was also a very intelligent little play.
Singleton's penalty epitomises the culture we seem to have that thinks giving away penalties is ok. I can forgive tired silly penalties in defence but there's never an excuse for giving away such penalties ball in hand.

What a crazy game! one slight moan...Can anyone tell me the logic of putting Brierley in the Scrum when defending? it leaves us so open to a kick and takes out our quickest player, it nearly cost us today, if you want a back in there why not use Sneyd instead?

Singleton certainly shouldn't have reacted and pushed him. I don't think Dufty needed to jump to the ground though. It isn't football and they need to have a word with him. You see players pushing at the PTB all the time and it isn't punished because players don't jump on the floor like they've been shot. Earlier in the game Dufty played the ball and started pushing the marker an getting in his face - I can't remember who it was but that wasn't punished.

It's a common tactic to allow the FB to drop back into position straight from the scrum. If he wasn't in the scrum he'd be in the line defending and would have to front up to tackle leaving him to turn and chase like Burgess had too. It'd also potentially leave him in the line and out of position on the next play, if he made a tackle straight from the scrum.

Certainly couldn’t have written this script, but some good performances in the pack; Stone improves each week and Singleton…no nonsense but occasional brain fart….but I’d never have picked that team….Greenwood probably gone, Sidlow??, Addy playing prop?
Ref good but linesmen not great with forward passes, offsides at the ptb behind the ref and another crucial foot in touch but luckily on video….Moore was generally sensible not panicking with decisions and not nitpicking.
What was great was the never say die attitude. Rowley said a few hadn’t been able to train this week and because it was getting congested on the flanks got the team to play down the middle…I really do think he’s the second best coach in the League after MTR.
Just think even without signings starting pack next season Singleton, Ackers, King V Watkins Stone Partington Then Wright, Atkin and two powerful props…and Bouroh improving each week, rave 2nd team reviews

Makes sense, thank you for the reply however, he doesn't have to be in the line, and especially on that last play in the first half when it was obvious they were going to kick, anyway we won that's all that matters

I think Singleton's push was about the tackle not the ruck.
Refs don't like you taking the law into your own hands but when they don't it leads to incidents like that.
Interesting the number of "quality" statements from pundits almost as if now there's only one kind of match that counts.
The nerves played a part in this one because it was almost like a final which many are pointing out too.
I thought this game was a dead rubber given Wolves' form and the points diff. margins but the result has livened the season up once again.
Will everyone be more disappointed if SRD lose out by point diff than results?
