Instead of the continued criticism of Rowley - now even before the match starts- without any information - I suggest you purchase your 2024 Pie eaters season ticket instead of continually bleating about our tactics. |

Almost a sickener before HT and an inventive play we could adopt with the pace of Brierley kicking through inside or Burgess outside.
I think a disciplined second half will see us through this. We've given away a few penalties in the first half but they've come up with a lot of handling errors in possession. They haven't looked particularly dangerous with the ball and neither have we. We're winning the territory battle though. Sneyd's kicking game has also been better with more variation.

Never make it easy 🤣 KR is huge now. Wire have Saints and I can't see them getting joy there. It's a shame Catalan have lost a few as they'll have plenty to play for in the last week I'd guess.

Looking at the table and fixtures it's still very much up hill for us.
KR have Wakey last and will likely win. Wire have Hudds who have nothing to play for. We've got Catalan who could be playing for top spot and will certainly be playing for top 2.
Wire have a much better points difference than us. KR are better and we could flip that with a good win but they have Wakey and we have Catalan in the last game and you'd assume they'll win by a larger amount than we will, if we win. We need a vintage high-scoring win next week.

I'm still struggling what to make.of that. One thing I will say though is that Moore did us a huge favour (yes I know I cant believe I'm saying this!) when he didn't bin Brierley for holding down after the Thewlis break. As blatant a professional foul as you'll ever see. I'm going to say it's karma for the BS 10 mins he got at the HJ earlier in the season but we've definitely got away with one today.
As it's against Wire though I'm struggling to have any sympathy for them.🙂

We did our best to lose that game and ended up with a classic finish.
Agree with SS regards Brierley. Should have been binned every day of the week. I'll take it though. Thought Liam Moore had a decent game apart from that Brierley error.

Wire fans complaining about us messing around at the PTB. Apart from the Brierley one I don't think we were any worse than them TBH. I'm a bit worried Brodie might fail a post-match drug test though after claiming in his interview it was pretty much a full house crowd.😁 |
