When you look at the team, short on numbers and halfback accepted, we still have a decent matchday team lurking there somewhere...

Well it’s been left v late for signings and not much around, with little funding, so Rowley and Blease have to get what’s available at this late stage but, as usual, I’m sure Rowley and the coaching team will hone whoever comes in and add value.
Don’t think McDonald would be in if Ackers and Croft had have left earlier
Addy and Gerrard still around so
16 + Dixon, Sidlow, Addy, Gerrard + 4 signings + potentially Cust and Wilkinson…that might be it

Because it’s the end of October WD and most teams had their squad in place months ago…at this stage you have to get what you can for whatever money there is…and we seem to have no money

You can usually rely on Blease and Rowley to pull a rabbit out of the hat…they’re the ones who keep,us going…remember Hastings, Lussick, Sneyd, Ackers, Brierley, Cross, Dupree etc…
All depends on money tho…but I don’t think MTR will get his young props…there will probably be a few loans…but the Club needs to generate more money this year…and not just from squad builders, shares, etc

is that it or maybe we have a couple more..Bullock???
Probably our thinnest, most crocked team for a while…but does have some class in there who are sadly ageing… Sneyd, Watkins, Sio, Singleton and a couple who need to pull their finger our King V Ormondroyd

Would assume Gerrard won’t play much if not released and Morgan only 18, so will be limited, so effectively 21
So probably have Cust, Wilkinson next week after all the hype this week
Does that mean we need another 3 or 4?….Shorrocks? Bullock?
