Actually we have beaten,Leigh twice,Cats once and HKR once. And barring some poor refereeing decisions we may have also beaten Warrington, Leigh a third time and Saints at home. We weren't far away against Wigan at the DW either. Although that can be a bit of a negative way to see the results/season it's really just what being competitive looks like. |

Rowleys job will be safe, no matter if we lose rest of our games, only way he goes is if he walks, bring on next season with hopefully some good additions and a bit better reffing, oh and us cutting out silly pens 😁

Let's get this on a sensible bit of ground. People don't want to suggest Rowley should be sacked but they want to discuss how it might happen, what could cause it and when the criteria make become applicable. Er ..... well....Eh?..... I realise human beings can keep two conflicting ideas in their 'eds but mostly it best to keep them there! Very odd response from a poster who postulates about freedom of speech and that we should be able to post and discuss what we want on the board? Yet a discussion point about potential pressure on the coach seems to have riled everyone and resulted in some crazy overreactions. You can already feel this board go a bit odd because we haven't won a few. Fingers crossed we can put the giants to the sword and turn it around. |

I think sometimes it's always helpful to reel-in the emotional aspect to sport. Enjoy the ride, enjoy the ups and downs. We will break the losing streak and it'll feel great.
For me, the playing side of things doesn't concern me, it's off-field stuff that in the past has made me anxious. Alas, this season the club really is having a go at it and are mostly succeeding. That foundation helps me not worry too much about the playing side of things as in the past, both were critically linked. Now, not as much. We may go on to have a mediocre second half of the season, or maybe a barnstorming end. At least the whole clubs future isn't resting on the playing staff as it has for many seasons past.
That for me, lets my emotional side stay under a modicum of control.

Pointing out something as silly is not the same as denying people's right to say it.
That's because it's an illogical discussion point but saying it's silly is just excercising a point of view.
Certain posters are certainly moving that way by suggesting Rowley might be vulnerable, and the basis for this is pretty weak and I think it would do more harm than good.

And the smoke and mirrors? JJR you call Paul King and the Board out all the time yet the slightest mention of our coach under performing this season and you go all Rita Hayward on us. I’d say our board off field have done better than Rowley on the pitch this season. Raised money, bigger crowds and strategic plan for IMG of course this feeds into onfield success however our coach has not pulled up trees this year. |
