It would be great to sit down with Rowley and see what he really thinks. If he did bring in prospects from the championship and they didn't work out he would be slated for it. I will judge Rowley when I can see what he does with the same tools the rest have. I think most fans would have more patience with the young players recruited than signing has beens who just sit in the stand taking a wage. I to would love to sit down with bleasey and king about this and ask them to prove how these signing are seen as value for money and wise investments because I'm baffled. I agree Kilop - Jobs for Rowley's boys. I'd rather take a punt on a number of younger players and given them a chance rather than ones aged 33 plus. Look at Wigan they have signed Walters and Chan great business.

I’m sure if the money was there we’d have younger, better forwards
But Cross Luckely Atkins Ackers Dupree from the Championship on smaller wages not bad
Let’s face it when you’re surviving you can’t often choose which lifeboat you jump in

Sidlow was Leigh's captain last year wasn't he and they wanted to keep him? Can't see how a couple of young lads break the bank Instead of these 2 and would add more hunger, drive and ambition. Prime example is Mr Dupree. Was at Oldham only 2 seasons ago. Not a chance he came here from Widnes on more than sidlow or Dixon initially.

Yes but What are " ....the same tools as the rest" ? Presumably Money, an Academy, 3 Marquee Players and people that influence the RFL presumably Hindsight is a great thing but for injuries over the past month and some strange events in the last two matches we’d have been in the top four. So if you want the likes of the last guy the Board picked…Marshall,,,,keep moaning😉 I think if Paul Rowley gets a notion of disatisfaction with him he will off. I have seen more Rugby from is coaching than any coach we have since and including Mr Noble. People say on here he as favourites Ferguson and Pep and every other coach as them it's not unique to Rowley I say its not favourtism more like people they think they can trust I think if he did leave he wouldn't be short of suitors JJR says Adam Sidlow adds Some beef I agree with that I just think he past it,some would say I have downer on the boy Stones I don't I just don't think he is good enough

Read the Cross article in here…there’s a massive difference between Championship and SL. Last Sunday I thought Sidlow better than Dupree. I think Hellewell from the Championship, although a bit older doing a good job.. I’m sure if there were any golden nuggets around we’d be having a dig…but are they there and how long would that last at SL level?
Leeds had the star of the Championship last year, played a couple of games now back at his old club for the rest of the year

None of these will be part of SRD's make up in all probability, anymore than favourable reffing.

Pointless to be discussing loan signings until we are down to 21 fit players. Simple equation and those demanding movement on the loan market should chill.
Now if a quality player becomes available for a SRD contract then that's an entirely a different matter and I am sure the club would move.
Besides - those demanding loanees should name those players available and willing to come. The loan market is dead at present.

Wakefield & Hull KR seem to have found some bodies still functioning, a few over in France.

Herman Ese'ese is being offered to Super League clubs and Salford are in the frame. We need a player like that not jobs for the boys like this season.

Though I imagine Hull would be in the frame given they are losing a prop to Catalan. Catalan could be in the frame too as they are losing McMeeken as has been mooted. I expect Wigan to move on from Mago too and both they and Hull KR were interested in Dupree so may also be in for him if they are looking to upgrade at prop. I can't imagine he'll be in our price range with the potential competition.

😁 So your telling me Sidlow and Dixon on two year contracts is good business for SRD? I believe that Rowley has his favourites within the squad and that shows in team selections and the omission of Burke last year and Greenwood this. Wire have just signed Crowther, he's a decent enough big forward for the reminder of the season. Why are we not investing to ensure we can compete for top 6.
