We’ve not been good for a long while. Look at our points difference. We narrowly beat Wakefield and Catalan at home. Our overall points has been masking some very narrow wins.
Can’t see us being top 6. Especially when we’ve got all the tough games at the back end of the season.

What I can’t tolerate is a lack of effort, look at the Kershaw try he pretty much runs to the posts, we’d given up. I know Mr King wants us selling the club to get attendances up and I’m 100% behind that, however selling last nights effort is truly rolling a **** in glitter. Massive improvement and reset needed and fast.

Can’t comment on last nights game but this result was on the cards, losing the heart of the time Brierley, Ackers and Croft would knock any team however we haven’t been playing our slick brand of Rugby for a while now and we do seem out of sorts since the Dupree affair , maybe a couple of fresh faces can help but every team goes through a period like this , HKR and Warrington are experiencing a similar blip, Huddersfield haven’t got going yet either, fingers crossed we can gain some form for the run in.

Just not sure where we go from here, yes we get ackers,Croft and Brierley back but there not exactly defensive stalwarts, we literally have to replacements in the pack and there just not good enough.

Agree I said at the start of the season we’d signed loads of 2nd rows the same size and it’s not working. We need a big forward, I’m not a fan of the way Greenwood’s been treated, a one time starter and he’s a big lad with something to offer Rowley give him a chance. Helliwell, Dixon, Longstaff, Addy, Stone ain’t the answer. Can any of you tell me any of those players listed are better than Greenwood?? Time to mix it up we can’t keep trying to run around teams they’ve worked out lots of our set plays. We need size in the pack, I’d give Greenwood a shot next week and bring Olmondroyd back in.

I'm disappointed. Not just at last night's result/performance but also at some of the reactions on here. Surely we all follow sport in general and Salford in particular for the excitement? If not, take up knitting. It was a rotten result and a rotten performance. It happens. What shouldn't happen is some of the bickering and accusation here. We are a small band of brothers and we can't afford to p**s each other off. Disagree by all means, but let's all keep a sense of proportion. By the way, has anyone else noticed how we always seem to save our worst performances for our best crowds? We had a great crowd against Wigan, so we were due some poor performances. It is what it is. Onwards and upwards. Come on you Red Devils!

Isn't Greenwood just permanently crocked? He's never mentioned by the club and he's barely been seen on the pitch in 18 months. I really rated him but either he's got a mental block on his fitness or he's just not capable of playing. According to Wikipedia he's at Swinton on loan and has actually played a game but I can't see where as I've checked their last 5/6 results and can't see his name on any of the teamsheets. He's also 32 so if he doesn't play again this season I can see him hanging his boots up.

Unfortunately we're in a rut and this run of winnable games is now looking a lot tougher than it did a couple of weeks ago. The mood on here certainly reflects the current weather!

Was it that the other teams were poor at the back end of last season? That ability to beat any team seems to have vanished this season even though our points tally is better this year we’ve only blown one team away Hull.

I will park my views now on last nights abysmal run out. I have at least two new fans coming to the Leeds game next week, all I will say is I expect 100% from the team after last nights game.

Just watched last night's tries after vowing I wouldn't. Jesus H, that second wakey try was appalling, not a hand laid on him as he waltzed through our line at Baywatch speed. So many heads were down and I hate this "feel sorry for ourselves Salford" as were a much better side than last night's game and the past few weeks. Big worry now this top six with Leeds and KR on our tails, I remain hopeful that with the return of our spine, performances will improve but the lack of intensity and aggression last night wasn't good enough. Don't throw this away lads.

Okay .... go to Buxton, give over, be your age and other well known phrases and sayings.
Apart from this was "on the cards", it's what was predicted and expected by anyone who wasn't an optimist.
If SRD don't make the top six it won't be the worst thing that could happen by a long way.
