This is not hard tonight play five props (3 on the bench plus Addy) and grind out a win. We’ve more players available, start steady and build. Going and trying to play Rowley ball in poor form is just stupid. Learn from last weeks mistakes. Its not gonna happen though is it. Rowley will not go against his principles so we will continue to play our style and it should be enough. Could do with weather improving a bit Need to compete first and earn the right then to be expansive. |

Don’t give cheap field position away early on by being flamboyant. If it’s wet and difficult conditions complete your sets, build pressure and then cut loose.

Wigan's defensive line is far quicker than Wakey's and I think we'll be starting sets much higher up the pitch tonight which should make our last tackle plays much easier and allow us to build pressure. Against the Pies we were kicking from deep every set and Field rarely had to field the ball inside his own 20 meaning they were starting pretty much every set from outside their 30-40m area.
Looks like it might be dry over t'Pennines so less of a slog than if we were at home.

Tonight is a massive game if we want to be serious about top 6. Wakey will be a much easier task than Leeds or Leigh. Need to win this.

Yeah but it doesn’t have to be that patched up!atkin at 6 and sio at 1 Watkins is no way playing stand off he’s never played there ever!

Well to move a guy to stand off a guy to centre and a guy to 2nd row that have never played those positions is really quite surreal!when he could have kept sio cross Watkins and atkin in the same positions!

We’re missing four players that’s it and experimenting I’m lost. Has Watkins ever played 6, Has Sio played in the centre, Cross at 2nd row is a farce. Play players where they excel, Rowley loves going all ‘Hollywood’ guess I’d settle for a boring grind of a win. Not a fan of making radical changes to our playing structure - we struggled against Wigan why complicate things. God job it’s not Cats or Saints this week.
To add Wakey to this point have one of SL worst attacks in recent years. Conceding lots of points against them is unacceptable.

I can't see that being the actual starting lineup. Surely, it's Atkin at 6, Sio to FB, and Williams on the wing.
