I understand people having issues. I have a few. Like poor communication. I don't understand those that have a massive doom and gloom sad on though. We sit comfortable in the SL table, we've made good business with a player who was always going to go (regardless of what he says) We're only two years into a five year plan according to the training staff and we've been improving attendances even though we're on a poor run of form.

I just wish that fans would base their opinions on the facts at hand rather than throwing a load of guesswork, unhelpful second guesses, and downright nonsense on the things they actually can't know. Social media and so called Journalists don't help. Sensation sells or in this case, clicks sell, so it's easy to imagine that all news is bad news based on what you read. We should really remain level-headed and base our views on what we really do know or can comment on.

I've read so much testicles this week about Salford, a lot from so-called fans, from we're a week away from disappearing all the way to the whole spine to move to the NRL immediately. While I can see that this is all b0llocks it seems that doesn't apply to everyone and it causes some real geniune fans to have severe anxiety.

We also have to remember that there's an added pressure this year, namely that we have to make sure we hit IMG targets to remain in SL. A massive financial boost to the books is a gift horse at this stage and boosts our chances massively at hitting those targets.

I have read the comments and opinions of those on the board and sometimes the board is here to vent some of our frustrations etc. I am not too bothered as regards who slates who off too be honest, but what I am concerned about is the way this deal has been done and the mis information coming from our club. I totally rely on those running it, as I obviously cant but i have supported the club through thick & thin over the past 50 years or so and due to the fact I have just read Tyler`s views on the situation and how his transfer developed, it certainly leaves a bit of a sour taste. he was our best forward by a mile and had committed himself to the club after an extension to his contract. What we need to know is why..when just a few weeks ago we were all on the up with the share scheme and players signing contracts left right and centre. I don't blame him going to Wigan and good luck to the lad...but surely if we are to compete we need to retain our best players etc. having Sidlow Ormondroyd and the like just doesn't cut it with me and the latter really is stealing a living, especially the size of him. These are the players we need to get rid of and save on the wage bill and also make sure visa`s are in place to enable our other best forward to even get onto the pitch. Instead of calling Tyler into the office and telling him...oh by the way get your bags your off is not professional in my eyes and the fans certainly don't deserve this or to be kept in the dark. We just want honesty...tell us whose next so we can plan who we will supporting next year or if we will have a team at all.

Clearly states that we did not NEED to sell Tyler, just that they had set a valuation and decided to cash in when that valuation was met. Same as any transfer in sporting history. Look at Cristiano Ronaldo to Madrid, Pogba back to United as a couple of examples in football, clubs have a valuation of players even if they don’t want to sell but at some point, the fee becomes to good to turn down. 

Out of interest, JJR, could you have a think about what the club needs to do better, where these inconsistencies lie. Those areas in your opinion that need to change and also those areas that the club does well. Start a new thread rather than muddying this one any more than it already is. I genuinely would be interested to see where you think the improvements need to be and how the club solves them. After all, we're all fans, we're all Salford through and through. Maybe we should be turning these vague opinions and words into something more positive. Will be interesting to see what you come up with.

Shambles this club they sell our best Prop and can’t get the other to France. Kings got explaining to do. They’ve not even had the decency to explain the rationale behind Dupree not good enough and we’re getting spanked tonight. Our season is over, well done Salford you’ve pissed off half your fan base in around 12 days.
