My only worry with the scheme is that we put money in once to get 250000 but what happens next year?!paul king has said we need that amount yearly to boost the club so what happens after this one off payment?!not negative just a serious question!

Easier to get businesses and high net worth people involved when you've already had £250k commitment from hundreds of fans and extend that target rather than have a £1m target and be falling short of it. The club needs more back office staff to get the commercials right - sponsorship, advertising etc isn't being exploited to the extent it could be because the club doesn't have capacity. Hopefully, if the share offer gains enough money the club can invest in that side of the business so that it can create sustainable growth. |

Worth a read I've not read it yet so will try and have a gander later but having control over stadium/match day revenue is HUGE. It'll make a massive difference to be able to profit from this stuff moving forwards. |

Just doing some quick maths on this...
Let's say our core fan base is 3500.
1 in 10 of those fans signs up for the share option at £100 = £35k (350x100)
1 in 25 of the 3500 sign up at the £250 level = £35k (140x250)
1 in 100 of the 3500 sign up at £1000 level = £35k (35x1000)
1 in 500 sign up for £10,000 package. £70k (7x1000)
So that's £165k from only 532 fans. As the share amount is fluid you'll also get people adding extra to each of the tiers where you can.
What we really need is fans who own local businesses coming in at the £1k/£10k mark if possible. Appreciate not everyone has that type of cash lying around but I'm sure there are people out there who would love to be involved but can't stretch to some of the larger sponsorship packages we probably offer and things like exec boxes which run into the many thousands over the course of a season.
PS. Based on the average spend from the 166 investors so far it comes to £342 p/p. So we need another 565 people in total to keep signing up at the current rate.🙂
I wonder how many of the current playing staff have signed up (assuming they're allowed to?).
Right I better go do some work now I guess.....

I think the fans are doing there bit but this is where the club need to act are they following up people like that businessman who has put 10000 in the guy turns over 40 million last year so maybe worth them talking!they had a meeting before this share was released with businesses and dennet and burnham but the club say no one got back in touch did the club not think of contacting them!I know it sounds pie in sky but driving to the quays you got bupa Kellogg’s talk talk whose founder is from Irlam I’m not saying they would but if you dnt ask you dnt get!

I question myself when I write this, LHR you sound like JJR in this thread. Dennett and Burnham are off limits until after the local elections. Good idea about local businesses that is what LinkedIn is for. As for anyone on the forum try and Tweet Talk Sport the Press Release or Adrian Durham he is a massive Hull fan Durham. |

I've wholeheartedly bought into the share holding scheme and report that my heart very rarely rules my head, but when its my beloved Salford, it always has done and it always will.
I love my club for all the great times I've had watching the greatest club playing the greatest game.
And I forgive and forget about all the bad games I've seen, because theres always hope.
Its as simple as that.
I see the Salford Reds are rising and I have to help. x
