I pinged the MEN this morning Paul Trainor was speaking to them this PM and possibly the Supporters Trust. Ideally we need a TV Slot on BBC or Granada regional news.
There is always Mike Sweeney's Radio Manchester phone in on Thursday morning with Andy Burnham at 10am if you fancy it BDB? I am down south working, I bet JJR might do it. These are the things we need do to raise the profile and keep up the urgency.

Read this: St. Pauli opens its home matches with "Hells Bells" by AC/DC, and after every home goal "Song 2" by Blur is played. We could do with some identity like this. A songs that plays before entry that the fans can get behind. Sowmthihg else for when we score a try. Something that can be played during a little break in play when the game is a bit flat to gee up the crowd and players. I miss the viking horns that used to play before the players entered the pitch at the willows. Music wise we should jump on the Hacienda / Madchester stuff - helps create an identity |

That's a good shout!
I was prinery and and high school age in the 90s and I loved the Vikings horns and the tune that was played. It could perk up the crowd in lull moments too.
Didn't some team play the Coronation Street theme tune when we came out onto the pitch at a game? I seem to remember we played the Emmerdale tune for a team too 🤣🤣

Just made my contribution. Slight delay as I feel I must ask my wife's permission for payments like this because we are pensioners and cannot easily replace money spent on non-essentials. (Not a wimp, I just believe that wedding vows mean something - "with all my worldly goods I thee endow")

I sent a triple tweet out just now, with a bit of what we do well, and tagged local sports teams in asking for a retweet to spread the message (I don't hold out a lot of hope) and some RL places.
I tagged:
United, City, United Women, City Women, Bolton Wanderers, Preston NE, FC United, Salford City.
Also,
Super League, NRL, Vossy, The Mole
No room for others in my tweets.
I did tag Ryan, Rob and Wrexham last night too... you never know, a retweet from one of those might lead to a few people throwing in £100.

I know Andy Whyment from Corrie but he is not on Facebook, he used to come around my mums for tea, he went to the same College as my sister, Wardley. If someone has twitter, tweet him to repost the Salford Link, him and Alan Halsall are great lads.
