I am not going to go all out on that game and analysis, Thaler was awful Hudds lie on, slow teams down every game yet they never get penalised - Thaler did us at every opportunity. We lost the game through our errors and in the end the players we had missing. Hudds are not anything special and Connor is made out to be a God by the media that plays well for 30% of the season. They are a mid table team, we need to improve, I am proud the boys gave it their all.
Here is the reality, I chatted to Paul King after the game, it looks like Burgess has done his ribs, we are losing players for fun. Every other fan was clearly asking him about bringing in Props - like who? Who is available?? We have limited funds. If we want to get someone in who will cost like Paddy Mago from Wigan the Supporters Trust need to liaise with the club and we need to raise funds quickly - crowdfund with the club to raise money. I'll start with £250 donated if we can raise funds. Our club at this point has no money spare.
I've done my bit banging the drum on the Stadium campaign, raising funds for the club to get bodies in is needed, this needs to be done in the right way, with the Supporters Trust driving this for the club.
And we need more fans in ........... This is not doom and gloom, those of us who can help the club through this period need to act, but lets do it via the mechanism that works our Supporters Trust. Oh and JJR have a look behind the sofa for anything, we get a few grand in we have options.
Upon having had the chat I immediately got my tickets for Leigh on leaving the stadium.

MTR done our bit mate but the Club didn’t want to know but I hear a watered down version of our plans will be with us later in the season. Re crowds…is there a Marketing Plan, using expertise or is it just all off the cuff? We can’t continually say we need more support we have to take a thoroughly planned approach Re the resources…it’s the remit of the Board to sort….doesn’t the ST support the levels below the first team at the moment…and they’re doing a good job
Re Lying on…if you watch Oz RL …they generally have 3 players in a tackle which is what Hudds do virtually every time (not always in my view legally) so the tackle takes time to unfold; we however often have two players in a tackle and we hang on a bit so get penalised…6 again…but not today as many as most matches. Hudds v thorough in their tackling technique as are Saints…we tackle well but often the third player doesn’t go in
We gave them 8 points in the first half…passing along our goal line again as against Wakey, drop ball 6 points, then a Croft interception 2 points resulting. High tackles offsides etc then led to our downfall
Having said that we were in it til v near the end and but for some poor passes might have won.. I think once again we try to score from every 6 by sometimes risky moves…possibly we need to learn to possibly apply pressure. To me today with Hudds ‘ spotting’ little kicks would have worked but for some reason only did the odd one
And with the team we had out I thought we did really well anf I enjoyed the battle…..Good contest
Enjoy your night MTR, we’ll be rousing the crowd in the East Stand at Leigh once again😉

As has been said we were poor and the Ref let them continually slow us down. As for funds etc, then we do need bodies in on loan especially upfront, either that or Rowley has to start playing Lannon or Greenwood.

From a Supporters Trust perspective, we don't want to be crowdfunding at this moment in time as the share scheme should hopefully be going live very soon, so please save your £250 for when that is formally announced.

Fair enough PK did state they were having discussions on this imminently, I kind of get the feeling the club needs funds in hence my comments.

We weren't great but neither were Huddersfield. We lost by ten, after gifting them their first try and their third came after we had knocked on at the start of a set of six on their 25 yard line. Instead of us being on their line, they went up field and scored. 12 points off the back of our errors.
We are competing in every game, key players missing does not help, but we are letting ourselves down with discipline and silly errors. The two tries I refer to came just as I felt we were getting a bit of momentum. We are not quite clicking, Croft is not quite getting through the gaps like last season and we generally don't seem as sharp all round so far. The forwards is an issue but all round we did ok against their pack yesterday, as stated two tries off the back of errors.
On Thaler, he started well, I recall thinking fifteen minutes gone and no restarts or penalties for either side. Then he went beserk and could not stop. I am baffled on what constitutes six again and what doesn't in every game I watch, not just Salford matches.
I thought the attendance looked higher than given. There seemed a lot more people about walking upto the ground, outside and on the concourses than in the previous rounds and lots more cars parked on the new road. If the club want to increase crowds they need to go beyond promoting to the already convereted but ultimately its about results and performances and we have not delivered a decent home display yet this season. All in all a frustrating day.

It was said on an Australian podcast, that forwards win games Backs decide the scores. So I think we need some grunt, Yes I know we gifted them points but we didn't look like winning yesterday, and Sneyd might as well just passed it to them on the six our kicking game was terrible. It was Einstein who said if you keep doing the same thing over and over and expect a different result, well something about stupidity. We will have to hope for better at weekend we will need it.
