Think we all realised this, the clubs recruiting in the off season was poor are depth is dreadful as we can see here. Really hope we can stay in this game but to do that we need ormondroyd and king to step up as both have been poor this year and hudds will play there typical boring high completion down the middle game.

I think Rowley/ Blease needed to move Escare, Vanaikola, Burke, Wells on…Livett was poached by Watson
Top stars had to be secured to avoid continually changing the squad and losing best players
We improved so players would expect more
We had little money left….Hellewell had proved himself, Dixon and Sidlow good pros, Partington top drawer, Longstaff for the future. They did secure Dupree early. We’re probably 4 or 5 players short of a top drawer team.
Sarge made the squad unbalanced and presumably had to be paid off
I’m sure Rowley / Blease have their eye on a good few BUT with no money you’ve got to balance numbers and quality…yes we have a Quota spot left and we do need a prop, a second hooker and at least one flexible back (Russell type)…and having borrowed £350k from the Council to keep the Club alive we’re unlikely to have money for players soon.
So, as usual we survive….a benefactor will want to run the Club, but presumably the Fans ownership model should bring in some resource
In the end CM I think Rowley/Haggerty/ Blease are doing an amazing job but how long can it last…the Directors have the responsibility to bring in the funds but since Marwan, survival…the CVA might have gone, we have a structure for youth but, according to Rowley nobody in the pipeline…so without the funds it’s as good as it gets…at least with your and others brilliant work we’re not at ML (and for this I’ll get castigated..but it is what it is)

Yes but the issue with rowley is everyone could see we had not enough props and he kept bringing in 2nd rowers,even quota he brought stone in,Dixon hellewell longstaff ,he knew money was tight and the squad is now totally lopsided!he can’t keep bemoaning it like he does in press conferences when he could have sorted it,we even have lannon and Dixon who he isn’t even adding to the match day squad!

Dixon is in the squad. He's left out Lannon and Greenwood.
Both played for Swinton in the last two weeks. I imagine they're play this weekend too for them.
Could just be they are not fit enough for Super League so will be added when they are.

Well they might not play but there definitely fit as they were at Swinton the week before and both been training this week,so when the league says name 21 man squad why name a 19,just looks like rowley looking for sympathy!strange behaviour really and judging by the comments on twitter people are sussing it out!

I think rowley and blease do a good job but everyone knows the position we’re in injuries wise I just think even with limited money the choices of overloading the 2nd row and not into maybe at least another prop looks strange,that’s not saying there not doing a good job rowley keeps saying we’re short in areas but he could have done something about it even with our limited funds pre season!

Think some people are getting a bit worked up about injuries and recruitment so early in the season. We are sitting 6th in the table and have only played 6 matches.
Chill out and enjoy the game tomorrow and watching 2 different styles.

Well Costello will be playing centre as Dixon isn’t ready and him and Williams will miss out meaning Watkins stays in the 2nd row he won’t be moving Watkins tomorrow that’s for sure!
