It was a great win on Friday, but the reality is that without the stand out two try saving tackles by Brierley, we would have lost.
So not thinking about a given victory on Thursday, especially against a team that beat Wigan last week.
It was a great occasion at The Village. I've never been anywhere where the outside noise was so deafening. The prematch show was fine, although the teams had to walk up the main road for a location to do the warmups. And if it all cost say£10k, is it really the best way to spend that sort of money at the present time? Leigh fans still went home downhearted, because it will always be the result on field that counts the most.
Glad I was there to witness and enjoy it all first hand. Roll on Thursday.

That isn't reality at all. Let's say he scores the first one, then the whole game changes, basic rules of space and time. Some very strange comments in their to unpack, so I think I will just leave it and agree that we watched a different match and event. BTW big well done to Leigh on that, great atmosphere and also great advert for the floating fan on TV seeing a full house and all the Razamataz!! We were the better team and some daft penalties let them back into it. We should have put them to bed earlier and it felt like we could have gone up a gear if needed. Similar to Cas result last year, we shut the crowd up and just squeezed them to death. No need for anything too fancy, just played the occasion and tactically were superb Still chuffed to be honest and looking forward to the next challenge |

Amazed Croft in there..I’d have thought Ackers, Partington, Brierley..but a good start. Hardacre had a good game as well
No so good for Leigh’s 2023 MoS😉
