Keep going MtR at least you’re showing your colours and making positive moves.

A link sent onto Salford Council takes two mins, let's hope that the activity from the fans and the detail in Gerrard's bid equals enough for the council in making a final decision.

Finally got feedback from the Council lots of active discussions on this matter but nothing conclusive to report back on yet. This may rumble on for a while, I hope that the Club are getting feedback given their outcome is pivotal in this matter.

Gerrard tweeted again last night: Hello! Working hard with the council to make this happen. Very excited at a chance to keep the Red Devil’s in their true home & unlock their potential. Let’s make history together & remind everyone who the best club on the planet is! #TogetherStronger 👹👹👹 twitter.com/sebgerrard We need to get all over this, keep the petition going and letting our MPs know we support Gerrard's bid, want a community stadium for our city and want the Salford Red Devils in their rightful home not Moor Lane which takes us back 30 years.

Agreed need to push this now and use the Supporters Trust as a voice and platform backing Gerrard and us staying at the AJ Bell.

Us staying at the AJ Bell is pivotal to our survival and future growth as a Rugby League Club.

If we don’t we’ll be having local derbys with Swinton in League 1, Sale will eventually go bankrupt as their fan base is disappearing and Peel can build more houses on the AJ site

Think we need some Press coverage about the consequences both to the Community and to the demise of the Club should we le@ve the AJ MTR
It all needs to be in the public domain; pity Tom Bergen and the Reporter have long since gone. But seriously a press campaign would really help. Anybody any links?

The limits & death of localism amd regionalism have been a problem for a sport without the London economic pull and power since 1895.

The fact that we were left out of the journalism on what an IMG SL would look like is testimony to the need for the JJB or The Gerrard Red DeviL Stadium as we'll rename it!

I have tried both Radio Manchester - radiomanchestersport@bbc.co.uk and did get an email from Bill Rice a few months back when Seb Gerrard was on the Radio. As for the MEN then forget, I have tried newsdesk@men-news.co.uk - never got anything back.
This is why we need the Supporters Trust to step up interface with the local Media and back Gerrard and us staying put at the AJ Bell, they are the fans voice, I am just one person. The MEN has to take an interest in this matter.

I sent the below email to Salford Council to the City Mayor's office - citymayor@salford.gov.uk - If you have five mins to spare, please email the Council - the time to show support to Seb Gerrard and our club is now, we need to all get behind this. Dear City Mayor, I am emailing you about the future of the AJ Bell Stadium which has been on-going for some time. This facility plays an incredibly important role in our community and the stadium must continue to be used for the benefit of the city, our communities and our sports clubs. Over the past year the stadium has been subject to takeover bids with the discussions on-going, I appreciate that these negotiations are confidential with the Council and various stakeholders at this time, however it is reported that two purchase bids have been submitted to the Stadium Management Company and Council which are under consideration. The purpose of this email is to illustrate the strength of feeling around the future of the AJ Bell stadium and to highlight how integral Salford Red Devils are to the communities that make Salford the amazing city it is. As a Salford citizen I support any parties willing to invest and ensure that Salford Red Devils remain at the AJ Bell stadium with a focus on the stadiums benefit to the Salford community not just private businesses. The club must remain at their existing ground in order to prosper and grow, building on the excellent community links already in-place, ensuring a successful future for the Salford Red Devils and continued positive social impact within our city (As demonstrated by Salford Red Devils 2022 Social Impact Report). Please refer to the Change.Org e-petition (below) from Salford Red Devils requesting that Salford City Council ensure the Rugby League Club remains in Salford (AJ Bell Stadium) and that the AJ Bell is a Community Stadium, this petition has now achieved well over 11,100 signatures making a massive statement to Salford City Council from the community. www.change.org/p/salford-council-the-aj-bell-stadium-must-stay-for-the-community-of-salford Please make reference to my feedback in respect of any future decisions on the AJ Bell stadium and Salford Red Devils, this issue and outcome matters to many people across our city. Regards XXXXXXXXXXXX
