So why doesn’t the Club generate th3 money Lhred?

Not a director but know how hard Paul king and everyone else is working and working to get more money in and keep the club moving forward but you seem to think you can do better so please how would you develop the club not forgetting businesses arnt interested in rugby league it dsnt make them money!

Believe me mate, some hav3 tried but they’re not interested.
They didn’t even find Gerrard and there’s now no public support from them for Gerrard. Mystifying, lots of people on here have put public cases to th3 Council and MPs inc an excellent letter from the ST…but the Board appears to sit on its hands when it should be motivating the fans and generating public support.
Strange I know lots who support the Club but I don’t know anybody who’ll go to ML,,,a total joke, unless of course if there’s a mass of Prestwich supporters waiting in the wings.
Sadly the Community Club appears to have become a self selected members only club, not interested in the community which it serves
And the Hobsons Choice vote for ML; it’d have been much more open to just say it’s the place we’ve chosen and not played the game of a pointless poll.
I know your passionate about the Club like us all Lhred and if you’re happy with ML and things as they stand that’s fine but all we get is we are the least funded in the SL, we need to move to ML, we’ve tried and we can’t find anybody to subsidise us to run the Club, which to to me is unambitious, defeatist and not very Salford like.So we differ mate

If you haven’t got the money then I suggest you go and find it. You seem to think it’s so easy! You say the club didn’t find Gerrard? Who did them, pretty sure it was Blease and he is a key member of the club. No one wants Moor Lane, however as has been said multiple times if the AJ bell is sold to sale where do we go! It’s not rocket science yet you seem to love having a pop at Paul king! |

Not having a pop at anybody mate, just amazed at the lack of info or support from the Club for Gerrard. People have tried to help.
Anyway possibly our last year watching the Club now so enjoy ML mate; you can sit with the Board in peace.

Announcement - the club is waiting to hear back from the council in relation to Seb Gerrards bid…… 3 weeks laters Announcement the club is still waiting to hear the outcome of Seb Gerrards Bid. So on and so on. As with anything when there is news it will be released. Given the club is signing players in multi year contracts I’d imagine it will be around for a good while yet. I’d go as far as to say you would probably be better going supporting Leigh, seems you prefer a lunatic in charge! |

Have a go at the Leigh Chairman but he does have ambition, raises funds and communicates…the way it’s going with IMG Leigh have the facilities and funds for their plan…we have ML, no funds but will survive in the Championship
Those who lack ambition fail
Contracts will have a clause in about relegation

All we can do is wait and see what is decided! The club does a hell of a lot to engage supporters and does more now in the community than iit ever has done. DB may have ambition but when it doesn’t work he just stops paying players and tears up contracts! Guarantee Lam will be gone before next season is finished and will take his son with him! Also at the present time we don’t have ML we have the AJ Bell. |

It's brilliant that there are 11,000 signatures lets hope Mr Gerrard gets the go ahead...... if the council defy history and the cultural heritage of Salford City and SRD vote them out!
