I'm at a loss to understand what you think the club should be doing realistically, JJR.
Maybe I'm missing something here and I apoligise if that's the case.

Ambition and reality are interchangeable words Carnster. Ambition is not pie in the sky. Every viable business has ambition and a strategy to achieve that ambition. All right JJR. You are Paul King, overseeing this move. Tell me what your plan is going forward Then if it is feasible tell the real Paul King. If you and I were billionaires, and we put aside 30 billon to build a new stadium. We can't because their is no site in Salford to build it, so please tell us your plan and where we build the ground. I don't want Moor Lane if I don't use my car and go on the bus so I can have pint,it's a ball ache, but I will go because I love Salford You have alot of questions but not alot of answers

C I agree with you that we need to go to Moor Lane and establish, as it’s possibly our only option. However all we seem to have done is survive and wait for a benefactor. Things have been tough in SL over the past 18 months and we have survived., which is to b3 applauded. But as we know it unlikely to last in SL at Moor Lane with the facilities, it’s a v poor situation; even looking at the facilities of a number of Championship teams Leigh, Widnes, York, Bradford, Newcastle etc we are not even second rate. Why should anybody back us for the future, possibly 10 teams in SL1
If you look at Cas Wakey Hull kr then York Bradford etc they all have ambitious plans to go forward. We seem however to be downsizing and meekly accepting the status quo. We’ve don’t seem to have had a plan, beyond survival, since Marwan,
Strategic plans have to be developed tested and shared but even as a Community Club we hear nothing about the future beyond Moor Lane. The Club might have an ambitious plan for development so all might be well and good but if not it needs one, in my view; if we are to be more than the team with, by far, the worst facilities in SL. I suppose that’s my frustration.
Or I might be completely wrong and somehow we grow and top players want to come and perform at Moor Lane.

If you went to the meeting you will have heard there are plans for a community stadium very much along the same principle of FCUM,Chester and other fan owned clubs. I don’t know why there are all the bad comments regarding Moor Lane, we are again being given a home for nothing. The other option is oblivion.

Great news PR, never been mentioned on here before; can you ease Dixon’s angst and assure him there is land available for it?
I wonder why nobody is talking about it.

Dixon as lived in Salford all is life,I don't need anyone to answer that I can see as I go around the City.Fred Done or Salboy as he is known and others are building all over the place.JJR you did not tell me what your plan is.

Quite simply, if it increases, we have no chance of paying our rent at the A J Bell. Unless someone can find some historic proof or contract guaranteeing us a peppercorn rent for 99 years, we're stuffed. So we have to look into moving. For me, any move needs to be in Salford. If you accept this, it is Hobson's Choice. If you accept a place in Manchester, it will possibly be better in terms of prestige and access but it will be out of the City. In my view this will spark a move to a rename in the (now boringly repeated myth) that this is needed to attract financial backing. Farewell to Salford. Swinton are halfway there. I do not want to move to Moor Lane. I did not want to move from around the Willows. I wish I had won millions to bribe Salford for a site near Eccles centre. Yeah.
Another opinion: as Rugby League (in the UK) contracts [prove to me it isn't], the money to Super League will also reduce and affect the big teams near the M6 and M1. They will take action to protect their size of the cake. We will be under threat then and we will not be on our own.

Dixon I like many, I have ideas but I’m not on the Board and therefore my ideas are just my ideas. I can assure that I have developed business plans for many major organisations and do understand the planning process.
I also agree with HB , the money available is getting less and the League aficionados, Wigan St Helens Leeds etc are looking to re-structure in the near future to get a bigger share; and being based within the ground at Moor Lane doesn’t give me confidence in us surviving in SL. Hence my views.
I still don’t know about the ideas re a Community Stadium that are being banded about. Don’t think anything has been published from the Board.

Still don’t understand the offering; a Community Club mention by King, and 3 offers of sites presumably by Manchester CC. How does it all link?
Just seen on the website that Mossop and King on M/r Radio at 2ish. Snubody hear it.?
