Bench looks pretty powerful. Think we might have too much for Wakey tonight.

Sounds like Pauli might be in trouble with the disciplinary again after another late tackle.

Defence for 65 mins won us the game.
The introduction of Roberts / Pauli and Seb swung the game and even Sam L. Size and power wins and the guys off the bench delivered.
Inu and Sio were outstanding. We desperately need Sarge back with Williams.
The set after we took the lead to force a drop out after we scored was immense - Kens hit on the winger from Tui L kick on the last play.
My only constructive criticism is that Atkin is not a 7, it does not work - he is an explosive 9 from the bench, Burke cannot play hooker even for 10 mins.
Final shout to Ryan Lannon, I am not his biggest fan but was a huge 2nd half after getting hit. Awesome effort.
Great attitude to win this one which we should be winning. Bang the drum lads...................

Inu again showing he's absolute gold, sio ika tui pauli escare all went well. Couple of moans, why for the first 20 minutes were we so poor defensively? We looked really tired then got a decision our way and got this sudden immense look about us. Also game management needs working on, christ were we trying to get them back into the game with loose carries and slack passing? We need to work out when to carry and when to pass which is coming tbf. Get few more bodies back and let's do the Yorkshire treble!

A game that could have easily gone either way tonight but Inu was the main difference for me. A strange fixture with so many players missing from both teams but a massive win for the team I hope going forward. I thought the boys showed great resilience coming back for 0-12 and the defending our line for several sets before the break. Hoping with the new signing and a few players back that we can kick on and end the season on a positive after a poor start with so many players injured and suspended throughout the year. Onwards and upwards.

Got to congratulate RM. Where lots of other coaches are moaning he’s just kept his head down got on with it and won two matches on the spin with a handful of players.
Well done mate; Salford spirit.
And now 9th above the two whinging coaches at Wakey and Hudds

Nice to actually see us win a game, wasn’t able to make Hudds or Cas so this felt good! Great win, important win, still loads to work on. Wakey must have put the ball in touch 4 times at least when they seemed to have overlaps, some of this was good defence and pressure, but also poor from them. We rode our luck at times. First half kicking game seemed dumb, not putting it in the sky with the sun in their eyes. Goal line defence second half when we were under the pump was impressive. They all played well, Lannon, Seb, Inu, Sio, lots of positives. Lots to work on for next week too!

The lad Luckley looks a promising prospect. It’s a natural skill being able to offload the ball in the tackle and this lad has it.
