There is a big turd in the room, we're beyond awful.
No idea how this is turned around? For me its a new coaching team but the problem is also the players and their commitment. How the hell is this addressed? Every fan is rightly hugely concerned, if you are King and Blease what happens next?

One HUGE arse kicking.
I make mistakes in my job: put my hand up and learn.
Do it again and I am asked if I need a learning or time to sort it.
Do it again and again: disciplinary.

Richard failed his 6 month probation in the real world. This situation is unreal, when the DR saved us (maybe 2013) we had an awful team the first year, watching this lot is worse.

To be positive 🤔🤔 We really do have some decent players. Any prospective coach would be able to see that. Nothing to dislike about Marshall but ,as has been said, he’s failed the audition

At least if we brought in McDermott we wouod be drilled defensively and much fitter than we are right now. Right now I would loan Tui to anyone willing to pay his salary. A good team is directed around the pitch by its 'brains trust', usually the 1,6,7,9 and 13. We have Escare and Tui in 40% of these key positions.

I'll throw Patton into the mix. He's utter gash. I actually think Atkin is an asset if used properly.
I honestly don't think we were all wrong in our assessment of the squad pre-season. There are some decent players in amongst the current rabble... we just seem unfit, badly coached and disinterested. Throw in the indiscipline, injuries, basic errors and shocking luck with some major decisions (Wigan loss the prime example) and it really has been the perfect storm. If anyone can name any club that has had the upheaval we have in the past 12/18 months with player/managerial turnover then I'd be amazed.

I am afraid the coach as got to go,anybody who says anything different is deluded,I have said this before in jest, that they just meet up on match days, now I am convinced that is what they do.Some of them could not tackle a good meal.I have seen some bad Salford teams in my time, but even they had pride, some of this shower are pinching money.

We are in some serious trouble here. Ultimately the Buck stops with Marshall and Orr but they are also being let down by many of the players and have inherited some bad ones.
Tui - disinterested. Poor. Unfit Escaré - nowhere near good enough. Patton - shocking attitude, unfit, thinks he’s the big man when he’s unbelievably poor. Exactly the reason he’s not made it at the bigger clubs. Seb - penalty machine Mossop - gone Atkin - squad player Not to mention all the injuries. No brown, no sarge, no Watkins, Burgess not up to speed yet, no Addy (who is bobbins anyway) Ackers can barely string 2 games together.
I feel if we were able survive this season, ship a few of the deadwood out then Marshall would be able to bring his own players in and he would be able to put his own stamp on it, unfortunately I don’t know whether he or the current players have got it in them to survive! It’s only a matter of time before Leigh pick up some points.

Well we are where we are.
My own feelings (as you know unless RM walks then he has to stay as we aint got the money) - so I would move the deckchairs on the Titanic.
Put Rowley or even Kevin Brown in charge with DO as his #2 and RM to take PRs job. A big NO from me btw to McDermott.
Lets also be proactive on players.
Tui to Giants now in exchange for Gaskell or Sezer (one can wish).
Seb also to Giants now in exchange for Wilson.
Patton to Swinton in exchange for Hansen or even Woolston Rovers current #6 - Thats his level.
One thing surely we have learned from the Andy Coley situation was to get rid NOW rather than see players going through the motions.

This is what I was thinking earlier (yes wake up thinking how to cure Safords issues as am sure we all do!) if Marshall won’t walk let him be number 2, or another position, and promote Rowley. Rumours of him going to Leigh so let’s move quickly
Also on the players, agree on almost all id ship seb and tui right now, and Patton well what can I say that I haven’t already, rubbish player with a worse attitude. But I would give escare more time. He’s really low on confidence and Marshall isn’t exactly helping there, at least he cares. I think there’s still a decent player there. And we have a few positives, like the look of Luckley and Wells, Livett has been brilliant. Get some of our injured players back and a coach who can inspire and we’ll be ok

Feel worse than I did last night and I normally don’t let it get to me. I’ve repeatedly said that I don’t think fitness is the issue,if you don’t score points then you’re defending all the time and it knackers you up. I agree about some positives like Wells, certainly Livett and Luckley. If you’re not scoring points then you look at the halves, which means that a decent swap deal for Tui would make sense. Patton is finished as a Superleague player. He carries himself as if he’s too good for this place which could just be unintentional but he’s bringing zero to the cause. Atkin is playing his guts out and you can’t ask for any more. I don’t agree about Seb. Escaré has been disappointing but has to be replaced by a proper fullback. Finally,I thought Davies put in a real shift and did his grandad proud 🥲

Trying v hard to be positive; Can we get the backline and spine moving and can we find a leader?
Backline; two new in and Sio playing in new position; must get better.
Spine; Escare shambles but Sarge back, Atkin improving, Tui needs to calm down, Ackers with Addy hopefully will put in a few games together
Leader; Taylor, Addy. Addy captained Leigh last year and heard he was their best player
Best team at the moment
Sio Burgess Sarge Livett Williams Tui Atkins Mossop Addy assuming he's fit soon Burke Greenwood Pauli / Lannon/ Taylor
Wells, Ackers, Ika, Ormdroyd
But let this team run for a month

Ken Sio, Krisnan Inu, Tui Lolohea, Kevin Brown, Seb Ikahihifo (loan expiry), Pauli Pauli, Ollie Roberts (loan expiry), Chris Atkin, Elliot Kear, James Greenwood, Rhys Williams, Jack Ormondroyd, Sam Luckley (club option in contract), Darcy Lussick, Dec Patton, Connor Aspey
Assuming we somehow manage to stay up this year then going by our off contract players there is only Sio that I would consider keeping from the overseas quota. Atkin, Greenwood, Ormondroyd, Luckley and Aspey would be the only domestic players I would be looking to retain.
