We're stuck with Brown until the end of the season so will expect him back in at some point. I think he should be looking to hand over the baton to Patton(tm) personally. We look a better side with him out, which isn't a great look for a player coming to the end.

I think Brown is totally underrated. He is the one person we have who can control a game.

Brilliant day yesterday despite the result and the blind linesman. Best performance of the season, players definitely lifted by the crowd. Thought the fans being split over 3 stands worked really well definitely improved the atmosphere in my opinion.
I hope they stick with it but probably won't due to costs. Roll on Thursday

I think Brown is totally underrated. He is the one person we have who can control a game. I think Brown has been a great player, but I think he's passed his best. He wasn't there yesterday and we looked better for it. We'll agree to disagree, but ageing half backs need to have some magic to warrant their inclusion in my opinion, otherwise they are just stifling the replacement. I don't think he's got that magic, but equally we don't really have an obvious replacement so he will be present this season. I'm not really seeing the whole game control thing to be honest. We've been pretty awful with game management all season so far, so I'm not sure what you're seeing to be honest. There's no shame in a player getting long in the tooth. It happens to them all. I hope he proves me wrong in the best possible way and I'll pronounce from high how wrong I am, but I think I'm safe to be honest. |

Roll on Thursday Totally agree re the crowd we said this, made the stadium feel fuller rather than everyone clumped together in the middle of the West stand and gave a good atmosphere. Only down side you dont get your preferred seat / view, but a small price to pay just to get back impo. |

I will hold my hands up after critisicing the coaching team for the last few matches and say yesterday was better and showed the steeper upwards curve in terms of performance we need to get up and running. Gutted to lose but let's keep the curve going and try and get something against wire  |

there's a huge difference between what a linesman can do and what a touch judge can do.

Probably when he missed the knock on by the Wigan player when Sio was going to walk it in, instead Child gave a forward pass.

I guess it’s the one near them end where we kicked it down field and the Wigan player put foot into touch. Also knocked on at play of the ball but they then went up field and kicked drop goal....Hastings celebration.....really pis%ed me off for some reason.

He was very good for Salford and is probably one of the best players I have seen in a Red Devil’s shirt. However JH does what’s good for him and he went to Wigan and now is leaving there for West’s. I have no complaints over him celebrating it is after all Wigan who pay his wages and he now plays for them. However this continual sucking up and fawning over him every time Wigan play Salford pi$$es me off. Finally Wigan unbeaten and top of the League, on what I have seen so far this year and also yesterday how the hell has that happened😳 |

That’s why I said I don’t know why. It’s a game. Must be the fact he could never do it for us, even right in front of sticks.I think it was more the fact we should have won that game if not for silly mistakes again but there’s progress. Escare needs to keep playing.

He is one of them annoyingly good players Liam Farrell that every team wishes to have because of the sheer amount of work he gets through.
