Lannon went well. Best game of the year. But pretty much every player had their best game of the year to be fair. Some good match ups - Lannon v Bateman and Pauli v Hastings in particular

He was a great player for us but massively cringe to see our own fans tugging Hastings off at the end of the game. The blokes just dropped a goal to beat us and you do that?

I cannot get past the point that we let away fans in for this game. We desperately need a win and we invite 400 opposition voices to appeal every decision. You imagine that game with only Salford fans there. Wigan behind in the game and no fans to pick them up when they are up against it. It is a game of small percentages and we don’t help ourselves. Looked like a decision made for making money rather than giving the home team every advantage.

We aren’t quite the community club that we masquerade as.How tickets can be resold when season ticket holders can’t get a ticket because they aren’t registered. I paid up front for the season and don’t expect to see it resold to someone else.

Maybe some things are more important than a very very marginal advantage in one game

Cheers Salford last season told the club that they could keep mine and my wife's season ticket money but unfortunately I will not be able to afford season ticket for the new season, I did say we would attend matches and pay on the gate. I'm sure I did see something that said a special match day would put aside for NHS workers, my wife waits in anticipation. So to say I'm annoyed at seeing Wigan supporters given presidence over long standing supporters that now have to watch every penny they spend. Bit of a double whammy Mr king

I paid up front for the season and don’t expect to see it resold to someone else. Wigan fans weren't given preference over season ticket holders. AFAIK there were 2818 tickets available today. 400 were allocated to Wigan fans. Which leaves 2418 for Salford fans. We don't have that many ST holders so if you are a ST holder and you didn't get a ticket today then I assume you didn't apply for them the correct way. And yes I'm an ST holder but I was more than happy to apply for a ticket knowing some fans still aren't comfortable attending games in the current climate

As far as I know we didn’t sell out. I’m not sure how that’s possible or why some people were unable to get a ticket. Depressing that after 14 months without being able to go to a game and there being little else to do that salford still can’t find 1800 people wanting to buy a ticket.
(I know some people not prepared to risk it yet and no issue with that)

Was it the 'process' and the timeframe that stopped Salford non season ticket holders being unable to get tickets. Seemed somewhat chaotic to me. Let's hope it improves for the Warrington match.

On the positive side for the team, yesterday's performance shows that not only is RM managing to get the team flowing but that we can now compete without 5 first choice players, including 3 first choice spine players, missing Two tries given away to simple forward lunges near the line the next thing to get right tho. Looking forward to Warrington .

Nobody is doubting Brown or Sarginson’s qualities. However,in terms of the fluidity of the team,we looked better without them. My fear is that, when fit, they’re reinstated automatically. I certainly don’t have a problem with Sarge back in the team, just not at full back and,if Escaré isn’t the answer,go into the market using the Kear saving. Kev Brown knows his job is to bring through a replacement so I doubt he’ll be precious

That’s the first game I watched that I really thought we played well enough to win, a bit more determination is all that’s needed, keep that same team against Wire give them a chance, we are certainly getting there.

We looked more fluid at times yesterday. But I think that was as much down to our forwards dominating theirs. I though Patton was fairly anonymous at times, esp in the 2nd half. I also think if Kev Brown was playing we have more chance of seeing the game out. There were some headless chocked plays at 16-16. Those situations are where KB is at his best. Some of Escares runs were good, a few times he should have passed and didn’t. One time he passed into touch. I think if Sarge had done the same things he would have got more stick. Tui was much better (and i think he’s been good all season). Whether that’s cos brown wasn’t playing I don’t know
Not slagging off anyone here. Just don’t think we shouldn’t just read too much from one decent team showing. It’s more than just having Escare and Patton playing

I agree. Sometimes in sport the coach trips over something largely by accident. If Sarge had been fit,he’d have been at full back and we wouldn’t have been as fluid. It was as much him NOT being at 1 as it was Escaré,who did look lively but I agree it’s early days. Tui seemed to be more dominant and I’m pretty sure that’s because we were less structured without Brown. The downside to that was,as you say, near the end. The fact is that Brown won’t be around for too much longer, but I don’t have a problem if he starts. I just think that the changes he made, possibly also involving Wells and Livett in the centre were forced on him,and sometimes that bit of luck is what you need
