Sarge catching the ball, McShane reefing early on, Brown and Tui really playing well and the packs getting there. Needs Lussick to be fit to look after the likes of Watts.
But they're moving forward, which at this stage is all we can ask, except for a win, of course.
And if we win, a bye in the semi.

Happy with that. Defence good, halves good just need a few weeks to polish that attack. But can we give Pauli the ball 5 yards out please.

At least good reffing BUT was McShane offside at our last ptb...now that would have been a great decision

Massive improvement despite the errors. Difference was McShane for me and I’d try everything to be bring Joey Lussick back to the club considering he isn’t figuring back in Australia. Spine of the team is everything and hooker is such a key position. Positive though despite the defeat.

Another improvement but am gutted with that, there for the taking. Thought going for the drop goal from there was risky, but McShane must be offside? Also Mossops first try was grounded. Little unlucky with a few knock on calls too.
But all in all played pretty well, tough few games coming up now

A great improvement and bags of effort.
The same problems are what's causing us to lose. Discipline and silly errors, although both were less than we have seen. We need a lot of work at marker. You could see that Powell had told them at half time that we were being lazy around the ruck and it proved our undoing.
Still, I'm happy with the effort by the lads and they'll hopefully carry that into the SL going forward.
