Adrian Lam has just said on Sky that they don’t know where Jackson Hastings will be next year. I am hearing he may well be home next season.

Yeah I’ve thought that. He has now been photographed in next seasons kit for pow eaters but I don’t read too much into that. It’s an interesting one. MOS last year, Alan just said in his opinion he’s played better this year but he’s not in the running. His first choice is obviously in Oz but I think there’s a chance he could be back a devil next year

We can live in hope him coming 'home'
If people he's played better this year they're obviously asking Mr Charles and Mr Wonder for their input, think most of us called it, he's gone from being the Big Daddy with the love of a city to just another cog in a sporting enterprise.
I can't see him coming back but stranger things have happened.

It's no secret he wants to play back in Oz, Salford wasn't a big enough shop window so he went to Wigan. No complaints there, but he failed to shine like he did at Salford so adds weight to him coming back ? Also he seems to be playing hooker ?

Would be like us playing Dudson at #1 and Evalds at #8.

He looked like he was playing dummy half, maybe he was just first to the PTB.

Reliably advised we have made an offer to Jackson to become our marquee player-that's Marquee as in best salary as opposed to the size of Neil Baynes who was actually a Mark F and therefore larger than a Marquee

Did Hastings sign a two year deal at Wigan? If so I can't see us buying out his contract.
But yet I'm thinking this could be the main reason watto is staying

I'd heard rumours of this for a couple of weeks.
I have heard from more than 1 very reliable source that when he had made his decision to head to Wigan his family came visiting, when his Mum and Granddad saw the love for him at Salford they basically told him he's made a mistake and then his Granddad (who apparently is quite wealthy) offered to try and buy his contract back from Wigan.
Hastings to his credit said no I've given my word so I'll go.
Maybe the same offer still stands?

I can’t really see if happening to be honest. I think his agent will be pushing to get him back to Oz.
My god though, can you imagine if he did come back? If we could add a prop or two, we would be a serious contender for both trophies again. I would fancy us to go all the way in one of them.

Just to have a dig shows ambition.
