Maybe he doesn't want to be in the goldfish bowl environment of the NRL, there seems to be a proliferation of plum sacks to take of the straight and narrow too.

Don't think he's had the freedom at Wigan, but probably learnt things, but didn't seem happy. He's always said he wants to prove himself in the NRL, so that's probably his next venture. And it's no real use him coming back if that's what underneath he really needs to do. If he does well great, if he's not happy then he's a far better prospect for us and would probably come for a few years. So I'd think, unfinished business in Oz next for him. Because he needs to do it.

Adrian Lam has just said on Sky that they don’t know where Jackson Hastings will be next year. I am hearing he may well be home next season. I honestly thought when I made the post everyone would be ecstatic, however many feel that Jacko should go home. Enjoy and rejoice that our club are prepared to offer terms to the greatest Salford hero since David Watkins. We are going to be a force to be reckoned with.Keep the Faith.

I think he will go to the Roosters. Flanagan has signed for the `Dogs and Jacko would prefer Sydney to Queensland I`m sure. 2 year contract too to overcome so as they say on Dragons Den I`m out. Just hope I am wrong.

Great player, probably the last funded by Marwan. In was a great partnership we gave him his confidence back and he gave us great moments. I'll never forget the dummy against Leeds on the touchline in his first? match. Brilliant time here and he's a winner. He moved for money, can't blame him, he seems to have regretted it. Now he probably needs to go to Oz presumably to prove himself. At his age he needs to do what's right for him. I think he'll be back at some stage at the moment as it would only be temporary. His head to me is in Oz in trying to prove himself. It would have been great for him to work with Kevin Brown, he has lots to give Jacko, his timing of a pass his timing of runs still fantastic. But that may not happen. Would love to see him here but with some permanence. The permenance I think now is more important. How many more times do we want to see a new season with a new 8/9 players? I think we need to overcome the view of this Club of being a stepping stone for players or a feeder for the bigger, and even smaller clubs like Cas. Would Jacko be a permanence at this stage in his career...I don't think so. So let's wait, I think he will be back with his head in the right place, at a later date.

If he did come back I'm sure there would be a clause covering any approach from the NRL.
The nightmare scenario would be for say Souths or the Roosters have a decimating injury crises in the halves and they come for him mid-season, could we stipulate that any approach can only be come seasons end?

[ NO but we could ask for money.

Just had a thought.
Wonder if a stipulation of him staying was Jacko signing and him getting the nod he's of back to the NRL or possibly to Hudds.
If he is I'd go hell for leather for Seizer.

Pie Eaters forum also reporting he’s been spotted at AJ bell today. Again wouldn’t read anything into it, could just be telling Watto and Blease he’s heading back to Oz. I know in the post match interview on Friday he said he’d make the decision in the next week but I don’t expect to hear anything official until after the GF. I think that was a Salford fan doing a bit of stiring 😂 no idea if its true or wind up He Probably was around the AJ Bell More likely he was Shopping at the Aldi, They don't half put those things up Quick Although the word on the street is they've No Good or Booze Chiller, Trying not to Upset the Neighbours at the Beer Tent or at the Barley Mow. But we will have to wait till next Summer to find out.
