With Wigan signing Jai Field, could that pave the way for us, like I've said above can't see it happening but fingers crossed, Wigan fan I know has said he heard he's leaving but staying in SL,how true that is I dunno, but keeps us occupied during off season

Just to have a dig shows ambition. Also shows that if he says no we have the money to look elsewhere.
Does make you think Brown has played his last game, doubt we would go for Hastings if Brown were staying as there's zero chance he'd stand to be behind someone for the starting spot.

Read what you want into this but I tried sky bet request a bet for odds on Jackson being a Salford player next year and they said they weren’t offering odds on it. I’m new to online betting so not sure what that means.

Was told a few weeks back he’d been offered contracts by 12 other clubs, mostly NRL. Wouldn’t rule out us putting an offer in but I really can’t see him going anywhere but Australia. It would be a huge statement of intent if we were to get him, I can’t see it but it’s nice to dream!

Pie Eaters forum also reporting he’s been spotted at AJ bell today. Again wouldn’t read anything into it, could just be telling Watto and Blease he’s heading back to Oz. I know in the post match interview on Friday he said he’d make the decision in the next week but I don’t expect to hear anything official until after the GF.

Easy to check if Jacko was at the Enormadome this weekend.
Go to the front desk and ask the lady on the reception as probing question, I don't know maybe what is 2+2 and she will go of in a tizzy, then just have a butchers at the guest book and see if his name is in it.

If you believe the word on social media when Watson was interviewed by Hull he set out a plan to release a few of their top players to bring in Jackson which was then rejected by the Hull board. Would make sense for him to want him still but at Salford. His mum already put somewhere on social media at the start of the first lockdown that she was going to come over here for a full year this time instead of just for a few weeks at a time. Everything is pointing to it i guess we'll just have to see

Isn't he quite serious with a girl from Salford?
I've spotted him out and about a few times with (I think) the same girl so maybe he's got amore to contend with not just if the NRL is his future.
The 1 absolute in this is he was happy, he enjoyed his work and he knew that he was adored in a way few RL players ever are.
JH won our hearts quicker than any player I've ever known and I'd go so far as to say he earned our respect in record time.

I can’t really see if happening to be honest. I think his agent will be pushing to get him back to Oz. My god though, can you imagine if he did come back? If we could add a prop or two, we would be a serious contender for both trophies again. I would fancy us to go all the way in one of them. His agent can push as much as he likes,if it is Salford or Wigan that's the choice. |

Struggling to see who would really push to sign Hastings right now in the NRL. For 2022 might make a bit more sense. Would love if the Broncos could make some room for him....

If Jai Field goes to Wigan,I don’t see how Hastings stays there,as they have promising kids coming through. Aside from the money,which has to be right obviously, it points to Hastings moving on,but not to Oz for at least another year and this must be very frustrating for him |

St George Illawarra Dragons could be an option in the NRL, Hunt and Norman have often been dire when they have been the halfback pairing this season. They've got a talented youngster in Adam Clune but he hasn't got the big game experience they need. The other promising talent, Tristan Sailor, has been shown the door and could be joining Jack De Belin in the pokey for a while.

Would be great if it happened but just cannot see it.
We need a long term solution to our SH position and JH would not be it. Unless it’s a 3yr deal that’s been offered.
West’s need a SH so there’s another option for him
