Brown out for the rest of the season -needs surgery that 'left him playing on one leg' according to Watson. Chance now for Atkin to step up and prove he should be our first choice number 7 next year as I'm not sure Brown has got another year left in him. I heard an interview with Paul King recently that said we want to go marquee but I'm not sure if he said in 2021 or 2022. Did anyone else hear it and if so will it be for a No 7? Lannon also out until next year.

Sad to hear about Brown as he's really stepped up in the last few games, would love Atkin to prove he's got it in him to be our long term #7 as he's really impressed me so far.

What is up with Lannon? Shame has he has played really well when he has played but can’t seem to get injury free. Shame.

Real shame about Brown and Lannon. Especially Brown. No Welham in the squad either.
Opportunity for Atkin to see if he can step up. I’m surprised Gilmore isn’t in the 21just in case. Wonder if Ashall bolt is in there because we only have 21 fit players or if it’s a sign he’s being considered for the future?
I think the team pretty much picks itself (assuming everyone named is fit to play)
Evalds Williams Watkins Kear Inu Tui Atkin Moose Lussick Dudson McCarthy Greenwood Flanagan
Ackers Seb Pauli/Burke Yates

I forgot about Gilmore, would like to see a bit more of him and Atkin really to see who would be the best fit for us, shame there's only 6 games left.

Not sure if the Wigan's games on now as they've been put in Tier 3.14159265359 That's a fair point, I was heading over to the other Swinton (near Rotherham) on Sunday to take a friend's 50th present, can't see how teams from Greater Manchester/Lancashire and Yorkshire can travel and play a game of rugby.

There's a reason they've been sent for surgery now as the seasons over. It's extremely unlikely we'll get into the top 4 especially without our general. Next few dead rubbers will be a good way for the remaining players next year to stake a claim

Anyone think that this might be an injury too far for Brown? He's been pretty good the second half of the season and would be a shame. Suppose it's a question of how serious the injury is and they're keeping those details quiet.

If anyone’s listened to wattos pre match presser it sounded to me a little bit like the final was Browns last game, which would be a shame as he’s been excellent.
It also sounded like they are still aiming for the play offs, I like the attitude. I agree is very unlikely but if we win our next 3, which I know is a huge ask, there is a very small chance
