It just occurred to me.
None of Warrington, Wigan, or Leeds can try to tempt players with simple facts we've featured in back to back finals.
Surely has got to be a selling point for the club.

Luke Gale is easily their most important player. He organises everything and directs them round the field. Hull had nobody able to control the game like him. They let him have loads of time on the ball, and it hurt them badly. Controlling Gale is the key to success. Agreed, we need to stop Gale from playing to stand any chance of winning. When him, Myler and Lui are on form they take some stopping. I'd like to see us make some big shots on the likes of Gale and Myler in the opening minutes and hurt them. I mentioned this on another thread but we can't afford to be behind on the scoreline against Leeds like we were against Huddersfield the other night. With the experience of the 3 players previously mentioned there is absolutely no way we'll be able to overcome a significant deficit at Wembley. Then just manage us out of the game. I honestly believe if we focus on containing Leeds' initial onslaught by not conceding any tries and playing simple rugby in the opening 20 minutes, they'll be absolutely rattled. As well as controlling Gale I think we need to watch Myler. If we pepper him with the high ball then the kick-chase team need to be spot on timing wise. They'll be watching the likes of Sarge coming in so aggressively, slightest hint of a high / late hit and Myler will stay down & milk it for everything.

Sarge got a grade A dangerous contact at the disciplinary. 0 ban though which is a relief (and the right decision)

"Yeah if one of you wins the Lotto but can't collect the money will we be asked to take it on instead" The Wife Bookies have Leeds as favourites but fans poll says ... Salford to win by 1-12 points48.76%
By a considerable margin. Do the fans see something Corals and BetFreds don't, or is this just why there are no poor Turf Accountants? Or have you all been voting 3-4 times?

Sky bet give us a 6 point start for Sat and I shall be placing a shilling on us. I placed a similar wager for the Grand final, not because I thought we would win, but did not know if I would ever get another opportunity.

Well we've played with a patched up team , using a number of 1st team players, with 2CV positive players and 2 awaiting outcomes and with apparently 8 injuries.
Leeds have just put out a new team, for the 2 nd time in two weeks, only two of which are in with a chance of a Wembley trip
So RFL you've done it again, created a level playing field except one end is tipped down a 100ft and the other tipped up a 100 ft. Watto and Blease could have cancelled today's match but because they were committed to the game they didn't. If Powell was in this situation we'd have had an hour of misery on his interview. But Watto said that's the way it is so we'll get on with it.
It seems we'll have a patched up team for the Final, probably missing key players and team which hasn't been able to train all week, and a tough game 4 days before the Final.
But we're there, Wattos men will turn out and we'll play, no matter what. If we win it'll be a miracle, if we don't Leeds will be supreme champions but we no differently. We're from Salford and the one thing we're used to is knocks.

Statement from Watto Because of CV I'll probably have to change the team, but no matter what team we put out we're going to win
