Wonder if the Residence rules in France will change for the English players come January 1st after the Transition year ends.
They do seem to have more lax rules,
Israel Folau for example Wouldn't have got a work visa for the UK if a Team in England Had tried to sign him.

I didn’t know signing a union player meant they didn’t count on the overseas/non-fed? I know some of their wage doesn’t count for the salary cap but I thought they would still be overseas/non-fed
The British players don’t count as overseas just like French ones here don’t

He’s (Izzy) not done anything criminal (as far as I’m aware) and you can’t say he’s a threat to the public so he’d be fine.
On English players going over after the end of this year, I’m no expert on the French system but they’d need a visa coming this way so imagine it will be similar. Can’t see it being a problem- the EU will get a cushy deal on visas like the Aussies do. If they are already there then they can stay no problem.

To keep this on a TGG line if you think of situations like Windrush like the RFL or Derek Beaumont where the appearance of avoiding of doing something is far from the actual reason as it gets. Also just like the RFL or Kevin Tamati making the same mistakes over and over again rarely bothers them.
