Quite amazing they want to play 7? home matches in Perpignan, or so the story goes and the French are looking to close the border. As Catalonia not the best of places to be at the moment.

It's lunacy to be even contemplating travel with a whole sports team, we just have the finances to do it safely (private jet and isolated accommodation).
I'd lay money on the season not being finished.

In the Interest of Fairness and Avoidance of Covid-19 Have the Tie played at Jersey Reds RU Stadium. Only two minute drive Or 15 minute walk from Jersey Airport.

I reckon Catalan would Play the game in England, Last time I went to Jersey was 4-5 Years ago Spent the week in a B&B Full of Portuguese Bus Drivers Woke up at 4am with the Sound of them Going to there early shift. ,And at the last day Was introduced to Jordan Davies at a WH Smiths !! Who was at Salford around Brian Noble time, Another of the What would have happened if the Head Coach not been a tosser players.

I'd lay money on the season not being finished. I think this as well. SL is starting at the very fine knife-edge of covid infection in England. Just under 500 people a week are still dying of it. Compared to Scotland who have had zero, with Wales and NI down to single figures. The relaxing of lock down and the seeming inability for huge swathes of the population to conform for the greater good means this season will be in serious doubt imo. As winter comes, infection rates will rise. If the sport can get the challenge cup done, it might be the only thing done this year. Let's win that then eh?  |

I assume some of those players are still ‘federation trained’ as France is part of the same ‘federation’ as the rest. |
