What's the Reasoning in that? No BBC No free to air Challenge Cup Then even more £s for Another US Megabucks Company Comcast who own BskyB. If your opinion is based on them Not Being supportive of your political leanings then that's A Fairly unfortunate reason for wishing the end of the BBC.

A big audience on the BBC looks good for the next tv deal negotiations as well. The first premier league game they showed was the most watched ever - I don’t expect that but I’d imagine the figure would be much improved on last year.

All the Beeb seems to be bothered about these days is political correctness and gender, race, and every other balance. Good programming seems to be v secondary.

You Could always get a Online Petition on the Go , I believe if you get over 100'000 Signatures you can get it debated in Parliament To have BBC Programming in the North made exclusively for White Men & Women That are Supporters of Both Codes of Rugby and Have Reruns of Or modern equivalent of Bernard Manning and his ilk To cater for 100% of the Population who don't like anything not considered Normal, It's worth a Try.

Back on topic... what are the odds on us being one of the four teams drawn out of the hat to play in the "sixth round" rather than get a bye?

The BBC is more than just its political output. In fact, it's a tiny portion. The rest of what the BBC provide is substantial. From science and nature, comedy, drama, and investment into British films. The amount available both educationally and entertainment for kids is second to none. Most of the UK schools would have been lost without the learning resources provided by it over the last few months.
But a load of extreme right and left wingers think it's some kind of political platform for their opponents. They need to get a grip.

What happened to ‘no politics allowed’?
On the draw, I’m no too fussed who we get as we had the worst draw possible first time around. I don’t think having a free pass to the next round will do much good at this stage either as we’ll need to build up fitness.

I wasn't voicing a political opinion as I said that both sides are being morons on this issue. Call it a view of reality from neutral ground. Haha. Anyway, we'll leave that topic for somewhere else... You have to face the best teams eventually in any cup, so not bothered about who we draw tbh.

The attacks on the Beeb are well merited on some occasions but they are not right or left just mistaken or guilty of being too cosy London to ask the correct questions.
One of the reasons they get in trouble is for not being the propaganda arm of the government.
There is an attempt to turn them into Fox/Sky News and that's the really worrying thing.
I couldn't care less who we beat in the CC either Carnster!

As you rightly say, views on the BBC are highly subjective so hopefully everybody agrees that we can put this on the shelf alongside politics. I love this forum as a rugby league sanctuary !
