I don't know if it's linked but I've just read an article with a rugby journo who's been at Wire's training sessions this week and he's said that fitness training has gone up quite a bit to prepare players for the 6 again. If this is true for a teams you can see a few players taking a few weeks to be up to the minimum of that's the case It’s an interesting article and I reckon fitness and not given too many set restarts away will be key in the first few weeks Seemed to be in the NRL where you could see the difference between the match fit teams and the not-so-fit. When it comes to team selection I wonder if they should just pick the fittest 17 and not worry about position 😂 Having said that I have my u14s doing the Broncos test that Aaron Bower did. They love it 😊. A few of them do it on under 5 minutes so I wasn’t that impressed with the story 😉. That said, for full disclosure, it too me longer to do the ‘stallion’ which is is just three reps than it took bower to do the full 5!
Greenwood is a top player on his day was attracting NRL interest when he was at Hull believe it or not. He came off the back of a bad injury and had hardly played before he played this season. Give him time and he'll get back to his best.
I hope so. I was really pleased when we signed him so I hope he can come good

RUTB called it about right. Strange having Kear on the bench unless Sarge is going to switch to the back row. Nervous about Pauli under these new rules!

Almost the team I suggested 😊
Got Ikahihifo and Johnson the wrong way round and it’s Kear on the bench instead of Escare. Interesting that Kear is on the bench. I wonder what the thinking there is - go into fullback if Evalds needs yo add something at half back? We’ve had it before when Watto has names backs on the bench and they haven’t got on the pitch
I hope my score prediction is way off the mark though...
(Edit - sorry LR I hadn’t read your post properly before I wrote mine, didn’t mean to repeat pretty much everything you said)

Seem better team pity about their scruffy try. And pity, after listening to Oz commentators, we have the drone of talk a lot say nothing McDermott

Tui looks like a prop forward but he is running the show. Ikahihifo looked knackered after 5 mins but the rest look fit enough. JJ mk 2 looks up for it. On the down side we’ve conceded two crap tries (only reason the second one was given was because the linesman called it a try).

Outstanding, absolutely outstanding. Yes Hull are poor but to come back and be as sharp as that is fantastic.
