Wonder if the Doc is involved in any of them?
You can bet Vickers if papping himself if he is.

I really miss the Doc which is the opposite of M Vickers. Only because Mrs Doc was always very pleasant. Do not miss her husband or MV at all.

The Doc tried in his way, put in huge amounts of money and effort and saved the Club. So he'll always have my respect. Heard Mr n Mrs Doc are no longer a partnership.

So there are only 4 clubs that have put their hand up for this ‘autumn tournament’ for lower league teams and a couple of those have said they will only do it with crowds allowed.
Then the New York consortium and a couple of others have pulled out of bids for Toronto who haven’t paid players for months. Debts are at least £2.3m and the business model is terrible. Looks likely they will go bump.
So if they do disappear, how will they be replaced in Super League? Will bids have to be assessed like with the franchise system? Not much time to pull together the criteria or time for clubs to pull together a proposal. Seems like they would be likely to get sued if that was the case.
Anyone any ideas??

Criteria: it's RL. We had criteria for franchised SL which caused Salford, Leigh, Widnes to move to new grounds and two of those aren't in SL but Castleford and Wakefield on cow patches surrounded by sheds still are. So probably will be who can give our CEO the best sun deck. Actually it'll be London with some dreamt up story about a capital city, needing to spread the base, we have only one team starting with L at the moment, I like to take my wife there each year so she can shop. Whatever it'll be another shambles; just like the Toronto escapade.

To be honest it seems to me that most RL fans tend to see everything as incompetence, drama, laughing stock etc etc the list is sadly endless.
It is what makes them blinkered and one trick ponies but also the same thing that makes them passionate, amusing and always entertaining.

Or perhaps it's reality. Like what did eventually happen at Toronto, sadly.

Don't know why but think that the NY franchise might have a better chance of making it, NY is an area much more likely to attract fans with an eye to a holiday (well not at the moment as it has been turned into a lawless liberal hell hole) and if you know what you're doing you can get to NY much cheaper than Toronto.

I forgot to mention their ability to play Senna the Soothsayer after the event and prophets of doom and gloom until then.
It'll all end in tears and "I told you so!" always goes down well with me.
In other words day by day and year in and year out being miserable gits who see RL doing badly as a chance to act smug.

TWP present owners/bosses sounding positive, I like Fev but I'm really hoping RL keeps TWP in SL.
